You really have to use the size chart if you want a perfect fit as the jacket is true to size. If you’re busty, you won’t be able to close the jacket if you purchase a large. I run between small and medium for jackets, and based on reviews I went with medium. It ended up being baggy and too large, and not even in a cute, intentional way - just boxy and bulky. I already have a larger jean jacket, and I wasn't intending to layer this and wear it for cooler weather, so Idk why I didn't just get the small. I was hoping this would hit at the hips/low waist and be more fitted; maybe a small would. Otherwise the dark blue color was pretty and the fabric felt really nice and stretchy. Ordered this in the light gray and liked it so much, I ordered three more colors (yay, Prime Day!). For reference I'm 5'8", about 175lbs and have longer arms and the large was perfect. It has a flattering cut with a slight taper at the waist, and the denim is lightweight with a bit of stretch. If I buttoned it, it would probably be a bit tighter than I'd usually like but I don't plan on wearing it that way. There's probably enough room in the sleeves to wear a thin sweatshirt or sweater underneath without it being too bulky/constricting. Overall a nice jacket at a great price point. ... show more

This is not the stiff, boxy old jean jacket you had before. If you're looking for a cute jacket that's comfortable like a favorite shirt, but thick enough to wear out and take the chill off, you've found it. I ordered my regular shirt size and it's perfect. It's cut for a woman; slightly tapered at the waist with some room in bust. Might wanna go up a size if planning to wear a hoodie underneath. Cute with jeans, skirts, and leggings. I'm 5' 8" and 185 lb. and normally wear XL and that is what I bought. The jacket fit perfectly with room for a long sleeve tee shirt in cooler weather so I was hoping it would not shrink. I washed it today to soften it up and I'm happy to say I don't think there was any shrinkage at all. I washed in cold water. Tumbled slightly on delicate and removed to finish drying on a hanger. This jacket looks great! It has a little stretch to it which makes it more comfortable. It is very flattering, tapered nicely, and good quality. I would definitely recommend!
