The Ricoh Theta Z1 51GB 360 Camera is equipped with a 1-inch back-illuminated CMOS image sensor, enabling approximately 23MP resolution 360-degree still images. Shoot smooth and immersive 360-degree videos in 4K (3840x1920 pixels) and 30fps thanks to exceptional 3-axis rotational stabilization to compensate for rotational shake. The 0.93-inch organic EL monitor offers access to a multitude of information at-a-glance, including the number of possible shots and exposure settings. The large 51GB built-in memory capacity can capture approximately 6350 JPEG images (900 RAW+ images) or a total video recording time of approximately 110 minutes (4K).23MP Resolution 360-Degree Still ImagesThe camera is equipped with a 1-inch back-illuminated CMOS image sensor, one of the largest for consumer 360-degree cameras. The Theta Z1 is excellent - even better than Ricoh’s newest model, Theta X, released in 3/2022. But this Amazon seller’s promotional advertisement shows the Z1 next to a selfie stick and a tripod, NEITHER of which comes with this order! Why the false advertisement? Amazon shouldn’t allow such intentional deception. While there is no text that says those two things come in the bundle, there also isn’t text to say that it DOES come with Ricoh’s essential “soft case” though it IS included. (All the Thetas come from Ricoh with one, and they’re arguably superior to the hard case.) I think the Z1 is superior to the new “X” model because unlike the X, the Z1 has a “HandHeld HDR” setting which allows the camera to capture a decidedly better photo while the camera isn’t on a motionless surface/tripod. Without that setting the images are noisier, less vibrant, and lacking acceptable shadows/highlights. By far the Z1’s best available settings start with the alternative “HDR” (not “HandHeld HDR”) for using exclusively with a motionless environment. This is not an amateur’s camera. Casual users will find it frustrating, if they’re anticipating a point-and-click. The onboard software’s ability to automatically correct/flatten the horizon is mostly accurate, but you’ll need additional software to compensate for when it doesn’t. I’m a semi-pro and it took quite a few days to learn how to make confident use of the excellent smartphone Theta app that controls all its detailed operations. My professional Z1 capture workflow has evolved to using a bracketed series of HDR images and Photoshopping the layers manually.     • Decent 360 camera, but battery lasts 90min
Picture quality is good and the Lightroom plugin is also really good. Battery life goes extremely fast, as well as takes a long time to charge. Since it is an internal battery, you can’t do back-to-back photo shoots. I want to love this camera, but I just can’t, but I do like it.

    • You do not get all that is advertised - Buyer Beware
I purchased this bundle that comes with 2 software packages. I received my package withOUT any software but only a piece of paper with download instructions. Ok, I tried to download from the instructions, but BOTH software packages do NOT exist on the provided link. Upon contacting them I got the royal runaround to make this short. If you buy this, keep in mind you will NOT get any software that is advertised. The camera is fine, but the buttons are very small. If an older person with less than stellar eye sight uses this, it will be difficult to use without some magnifying glass. If you use the app, thats fine but then if you want to use the plugins you will have to use the buttons. Other than that the camera seems good so far. Just prefer to buy from someone more honest and who does not leave their customers in the cold. ... show more

I bought this kit with these edition program codes and they were expired. Camera is in good condition. If you can, buy it separately and not from this seller, you will save at least $20 to spend in real equipment instead of these programs

    • TOO COMPLICATED TO USE
It’s a mission to use, the battery life is terrible lasts like 12-15 minutes tops and the set up to Then have the outcome I wanted with the camera it also costs additional money. I’m returning it.

    • Amazing Camera / awful software.
If it wasn't for the software that you are required to use with this camera I would be ecstatic about it. However that is not the case and the software hardly ever works. IMPROVE YOUR SOFTWARE or people will abandon your product. Sheesh man really that simple.
