I've used Richword thread a few times now and have always found it to be of good quality at a reasonable price. The 4000M spools are quite large, so you may want to measure your spool pins and make sure your machine can accommodate a large spool. (I think the measurements are in the product description). I wanted to make a decorative hand towel for fall with a cute pumpkin embellishment. The off-white worked well with the fabric I was using for my pumpkin and stem applique as well as the background towel color. I've attached some pictures of the finished towel to show this thread in use. The brown around the pumpkin stem is also a Richword thread that I had from a previous order. The Richword thread is just as strong and shiny as a more expensive thread. I had no issues with the thread breaking, knotting or fraying while sewing. I'm definitely happy with this thread and look forward to using it in future projects.

Good value, it worked great. It isn't as nice as some other brands I've tried, but the color and sheen were really nice and complemented my project well. It didn't fit on my Janome machine but I used a trick to be able to thread it anyway.

The thread is strong and deeply pigmented polyester thread. I don't embroider by machine, so I will be using it for quilting and general sewing. There are inexpensive spool stands you can buy to make these large spools work with regular household machines like mine. You get a lot for your money with this spool. There are 4000 meters of thread here. That's pretty close to 4000 yards. The thread is strong enough to give good resistance when you pull it. I was able to break it by pulling it but only just in time to prevent it cutting my skin from the force. This isn't particularly thick thread. It's more like multi-purpose sewing thread, but it will work fine for quilting.

I love this brand of embroidery thread. I already own about 60 different colors that I use on my embroidery machine. I use some of the basic colors quite often so getting this cone of white to add to my collection was a good thing to do. This cone has about 4400 yards of quality embroidery thread that should last a very long time. The Richword thread is strong and brilliant and shows up very well on my embroidered items. I do not have any issues with breaking or excess shedding. The thread did come with a chart of all the Richword colors and conversion numbers for Madiera thread. I will continue to use this brand.

This thread is good quality and provides a nice value compared to others. You get a large spool and it comes with good color choices to match your project. The color is nice and consistent and strong thread. I am very pleased with this and would get again.

This spool of bright red polyester embroidery thread works great on my embroidery capable sewing machine. Right now is just about the right time to begin embroidering Christmas themed items and the bright red color is perfect for many of my Christmas embroidery patterns. The thread is strong and so far, I haven't found any breaks.

Review for RICHWORD Embroidery Thread 4000M 40WT Polyester Thread for All Commercial & Domestic Embroidery Machines. Richword machine embroidery thread is made from polyester, so it won't run or fade quickly in the sunlight. This means that you can use it to stitch designs on caps, and the design won't fade quickly (like rayon thread) if the cap is left in a car or truck. The thread is colorful and has a nice sheen. I haven't tried this on my commercial machine, but I did try it on my home embroidery machine. It stitched out nicely without any thread breaks. You need to use a universal thread stand (vertical stand) behind your home embroidery machine to use this larger cone size. I dislike that they have 4,000m cones, when most other brands have 5,000m cones. This means that it is harder to compare prices between brands (as I have to calculate what this brand would cost if it were 5,000 meters).
