I just updated my thread stock with the 100 spool 4000 m cones from Richword. I have been using Richword threads since they released the thread line and previously had the 80 color 800m set and was buying individual 4000m spools as I used up colors in that set. Lately; I found I was needing a few new shades that were not included in the 80 color set it was more cost effective to go with the 100 spool set than try to purchase the extra colors I needed individually and continue to purchase extra spools of my highly used colors to replace. The color palette is beautiful. There are NO duplicate colors in the 100 colors. I have used various different brands of threads and still do as there are some shades of colors that are just not found in Richword threads but offered by other brands. Primarily though I prefer my Richword threads. They stitch clean, smooth and are vibrant. They launder/wear well and are consistent with the colors even when reordering an individual color to restock a color. ... show more

I have had some breakage although not a lot. More breakage than brothread but for the price difference this is a better deal for me. I have used a jar to set it in along with a thread holder for use. It is also a bit annoying how it seems to want to fall off the spool
