I scoured the internet finding something that was metal so my kids can’t break them and sturdy. I settled on these beauties and I am very happy. My husband and I both sat on this bed for a good amount of time to test fragility and it held up nicely (equates to over 250lbs) The color and look are true to photos. Everything is metal for assembly except the corners (they are made of a sturdy plastic. They are true to a twin size mattress. And I think to prevent mattresses slipping off the side I will Velcro the mattresses on so I can remove them when needing to move. The longest pieces fold which I love. The only change I would make is a support beam between left and right side of the center prong underneath the bed. It seems like it is angling in a bit which I don’t love. I may have to rig something up so they don’t break. I am wanting to put a trundle underneath (which they should fit about a 5-6” twin bed) so that might take care of that anyways. Definitely would recommend and definitely worth the money. This was the cheapest best option I found. Hope this helps. I bought a pair of these for my sons, and they work as intended. They were easy to put together and appear to be sturdy after a year. They are a good value for the money. However, quality control is lacking, as there are sharp metal seams that could have been filed down.

Not bad quality. Seemed sturdy after putting it together. But, I ended up selling it on FB marketplace. The mattress kept sliding off the side of the bed. It was annoying.
