Loved the few parts needed to put this together (queen). Simple instructions, easy to assemble. I am a 78 years young woman with a "I want it done and I want it done now" attitude. I could not wait for someone to be available to help so I did it. The tools that were provided were sufficient but Instead of using the wrench for the first part, I got a ratchet with a 1/2 inch socket and it was super fast. The other helping hand was a rubber hammer to seat the slats. WALA!! I could not be happier :) All metal is the way to go. The box was verrrry heavy so I unpacked it and carried parts and pieces up the stairs, good workout. I would buy again! ... show more

All the tools you need to assemble it (a hex key and a wrench) are included although a metric socket set made it quicker for me to tighten the lock nuts. It's a great product.
