The support is good, but the chair is for someone taller than me being just 5'5" but a small pillow below the rad rest works great. I also put a small pillow where the back and seat meet for my lower back support as I have a slight back problem also. Purchased for a Senior with mobility issues. I recommend this lift for anyone that need transition help. It’s comfortable, has a lot of extra features (heat, vibration, lumbar support) and a cool compartment for stuff! Having the USB port is also great senior is also a plus. Price is good, easy to assemble and the size is good too. Would for a woman who’s newer tall. The color matched here livingroom and she was quite pleased. The chair is very nice, I ordered gray, it is actually a very light gray. Much lighter than the picture. It must sit almost 4’ from a wall to lay back. It went together very easy. The movement is very slow. If you’re used to a manual, which flips up quick you will be disappointed. Also, some of the movements are linked with tilt, so it has a bit limited positions. The massage is pretty nice, and the heat. Armrest hinges are very sturdy and close very solid. I ended up paying 530 with tax. It was also delivered within a week. This review is after two days, so things may change a little.

If you are in need of a quality recliner that you will love, buy this chair! I already had a very nice, less expensive recliner that I liked very much, but it did not fully recline to the 180 degree position. I was planning to purchase a second one, but decided that I would probably benefit from the ability to fully recline. My search located this one, which I found to be reasonably priced, yet fully featured. After considerable hesitation, I bought this recliner. WOW! I don’t remember ever being happier with a purchase! My other chair has a 21 inch wide seat, which is enough for me, but this chair has a 26 inch wide seat. This extra “wiggle room” is really enjoyable, something I had not previously considered. This chair is very well padded, which provides great comfort! And, thanks to dual motors, positioning is practically infinite. The movement is quiet, smooth, and dependable in all positions. And, I LOVE that, no matter what position you are in, you can return to an upright sitting position by pressing one dedicated button! An additional benefit is that both armrests open to reveal generous storage areas! In closing, I’ll just mention that I am 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and the chair supports all of me. I do not “hang over” at either end. I heartily recommend this recliner!

This lift chair is amazing! It really exceeded my expectations. I purchased it for my father who has serious mobility issues and I was nervous about ordering a lift chair on-line without actually testing it out in person. My father is a tall man (6'1) and this chair accommodates him perfectly. He says it is very comfortable and the seat height of the chair is higher which is also a great benefit. He enjoys the massage and heat function too, it helps ease his muscle aches. He has been using it for over two weeks now and he really loves this chair! It was very easy to assemble and appears to be a very high quality chair, especially for the price. It functions well and looks great too! We are very, very pleased with this chair and so glad we purchased it!

Pretty darn nice chair! Actually bought a second one to match. Looked around for several weeks for the right one and discovered this one. Why? Lays fully flat, has cupholders, has lots of storage in the armrests, has more storage pockets on the sides, has wide seat, and the heat is also on the butt, not just the lower back. It has zones for vibrate. Motors are quiet. Leg extension is long enough so your ankles don't dangle over. Basically this specific model is affordable, is leather, not Faux Leather, that's what the label says. It also included every option unlike other models which were basically either or. Highly recommend this specific model. Oh, it could use a power headrest, but I just stick a little pillow behind my head when watching TV and reclining, no big deal!

It doesn't recline completely flat but as near as, at this pricepoint. Easy to put together. There is a valley that opens up at the buttock/lower back area when fully reclined. I stick a small pillow in it. The leg rest does not rise a far as I would like, you know, to get the legs above the heart, but its tolerable. The fabric is very nice, the cushions are softer than some lift chairs. There is a bar at the end of the legrest that is under the heels, I dont like the pressure under my heels. The cup holders are great. The storage compartments under the arms are great. All in all, for the price it's a 4 star chair.
