  • Best beginner tattoo kit
As a beginner tattoo artist, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this tattoo kit. Everything arrived well-packaged and included everything I needed to get started. The machine runs smoothly, feels comfortable in the hand, and has consistent power throughout longer sessions. The ink, needles, and accessories were all included, making it a great value for the price. Setup was straightforward, even for someone still learning. I’ve already completed several practice pieces and the machine has performed reliably every time. If you’re looking for an affordable starter kit to learn tattooing or practice your skills, I would definitely recommend this kit. Great quality for the money and exceeded my expectations. ... show more

  • starter tattoo kit review
this rotary tattoo pen kit is actually pretty loaded for a starter set. having the wireless power supplies is super convenient since you’re not stuck dealing with cords everywhere and it makes setup a lot cleaner. the pen feels lightweight and easy to hold which helps for longer practice sessions. it comes with enough needles and basic supplies to get started right away so you dont need to buy a bunch of extras upfront. only downside is the kit quality can feel a bit beginner-level and not super precise for really detailed work, plus battery life on cheaper wireless units can be kinda inconsistent. still pretty solid for learning and practicing before upgrading to pro gear. ... show more

  • Excellent beginner tattoo kit
My daughter and I recently decided to learn tattooing together, and after trying three different beginner machines on practice skins, this has been our favorite by far. We can already see our lines becoming cleaner and more consistent, and this machine has made the learning process much more enjoyable. The pen has a comfortable weight and feels well balanced in the hand without causing fatigue during longer practice sessions. It runs smoothly with very little vibration, which makes it much easier to maintain steady lines and work on finer details. The motor delivers consistent power, and we haven't experienced any hesitation or fluctuations while using it. The construction feels durable, with a solid metal body that doesn't feel cheap. The wireless batteries are convenient, and having two means one can be charging while the other is in use, so practice sessions don't have to end because of a dead battery. Setup was simple, and everything fit together without any issues. For the price, this kit includes an impressive amount of supplies to get started. It's an excellent value for beginners who want to practice before investing in more expensive equipment. While we'll eventually upgrade needles and ink as our skills improve, everything included has been more than adequate for learning on practice skins. This has been the easiest and most comfortable machine we've used so far, and it's given us the confidence to keep improving. If you're looking for a beginner-friendly tattoo kit with smooth performance, solid construction, and excellent value, this is a great place to start. ... show more

  • I like the construction of the tattoo machine, but didn’t like the performance
Rhein tattoo machine kit Tattoo machine is made of metal alloy , fixed stroke with adjustable needle depth, comes with 2 batteries charging cord micro usb C , feels comfortable in the hand has a little bit of weight , The batteries have lots of modes and settings to choose from , has a built in timer lets you know how long you have been running the batteries for , voltage mode , hertz mode, nps mode , Voltage mode works ok , I kept noticing that the machine likes to surge , meaning while you’re tattooing it will surge and seems like power increases for no reason which then goes back to normal, i don’t like that as it can cause issues. Hertz mode also did the surge where it would surge high briefly and back to normal. NPS mode wellness I wasn’t successful using this mode as it goes extremely slow even on the highest setting, supposedly for dot work. This kit does comes with everything you need to start out with , cartridges ink ink cups , a fake skin stencil paper, all are not very high quality items but still usable to learn , I like the construction of the tattoo machine, but didn’t like the surging that the machine does , unsure if it’s supposed to do that or if it’s got something wrong with it , Value for the money Id say seems a little high priced , if it had worked without the surging I’d say it’s fair price but unfortunately it’s didn’t. Very easy to use tho , open the box up and set your area up and you can start tattooing out of the box on the fake skin , ... show more

  • Good beginner kit for the price. You still need some stencil transfer gel to get started. Good beginner kit for the price. You still need some stencil transfer gel to get started.
Fair deal. Price matches quality expected. This is very suitable for a beginning tattooer. Not super fancy, but not going to break the bank. If you are looking for a kit that has as much as possible of what you need to start out, to find out whether you want to get into tattooing, this is a good set to start with. Not fancy packaging, everything is delivered tightly packed in a brown cardboard box. The machine itself is nice and solid. Solid construction with metal exterior. Smaller grip than typical with a decent weight. Machine cannot be adjusted for stroke length, but can be used for lining with most common needle groups. Has enough power for smooth lines and can be turned down in voltage for shading. The needle hang adjustment is a very solid twist with a firm click. Has enough adjustment to accommodate every needle I tried it with. The RCA connector is very adaptable with various power sources. Two batteries that are included allows you to use one and charge one, letting you work indefinitely. The batteries are simple, but does have a setting for stippling. A bit bulky, but light in weight. Ink is good for practice, but can use a larger bottle of black. The needles aren't very good though. To me, the casing is larger than necessary and allows for a bit of wobble while working. Skin is thin and not exactly the best, but gives you something to start with. Everything else is ok. Stencil, gloves, machine wrap are basic. One unique item is the green soap with foaming pump bottle. That is not usually a part of a beginner kit since green soap really works best when used on tattooing of real skin. For beginner kits using fake skin, some petroleum jelly would actually work better. One important item that is not included is stencil transfer gel. I guess they are expecting people to use deodorant sticks in place of stencil transfer gel. Other than the gel, you do have everything to start with. Basic quality, but very reasonable price for what you get. ... show more

  • Unbelievable value for entry level tattooing and practice
It's hard to believe this entire kit with the gun, two battery packs, gloves, practice skin, 10 needles, a full set of colors and more is this affordable. It really does have everything for the aspiring tattoo artist to become familiar with the skillset. Each battery can run at least 4 hours and up to 6 and in my testing this felt quite accurate. All of this is USB-C rechargeable and you get a clear visual display of the voltage, run time and other vitals right on the wireless battery pack. Simple buttons to increase or decrease the voltage/power and up to four memory programmable settings for particular voltages. The gun feels light in the hand and comfortable to work with and I am still amazed at how affordable the kit is. It also supports two modes of operation (120Hz and 20NPS with varying timing). ... show more
