Wouldnt take my 32 gb san disc memory card for some reason, but was still able to save pokemon progress. I was a little worried bc I opened pokemon in GBA, & I couldn't see the keyboard or menu selections, so I tried all the buttons and L1/R1 changed the view so I could see the "bottom screen", but its like a combination you just have to keep clicking them to figure out.. There isn't a detailed diagram of key commands, some games you just have to button mash to figure out. Select or start for the arcade games to "insert token". I dont know what the center button with FN under it does, but it has a little blue pinhole light under it thats always on; That I find annoying on devices/appliances, but whatever. The Select+Down DPad save appears to work as it has a tiny pop up; And in the pokemon games at least, the in-game save option works fine and I used that. Hitting the reset button (right next to the power button) doesn't delete saved games, just resets the console; I have had to use it a few times bc some games will freeze on black screen. No big deal, reset works fine. Does come on at full volume & brightness tho, which is a little jarring when I think I've just powered it off.. The lights around the sticks aren't necessary for me, kind of just use more battery but also whatever, they're fun. Adds to the arcade feel. Really cool to have a "Gameboy" with analog sticks. Using them in Pokémon is nice. Lots of good stuff on here. Probably 5 years ago or so, I got my dad one of those mini retro pre-loaded Atari emulators; Really cool to have something like this now. I've been getting some cell phone games but there are so many extra clicks and ads for the store, before even getting to play the game; And then its like 30 seconds of gameplay that is far too easy and then a minute ad, or one that you can't even close out of, so this thing is awesome. Simple, fun Galaga-style games and bubble pop/match, plus side scrollers like Batman, MegaMan, Dragon Ball..I've been saving favorites and then you can have it choose one at random for you, which is fun. I mostly got it for break at work where we're not allowed to have our phones. I especially love that its similar to the greenish Gameboy Color I used to have. The screen is beautiful. The buttons/sticks all feel good. Not many games that use the triggers so far but they're cool. Light weight. Pocket arcade/gameboy. 5* so far. I'd love to have EvoCreo on it, but its a mobile game.. Nice little emulator

For under fifty bucks, this little handheld is a lot of fun. The RG36PRO feels solid in the hand, and the matte finish keeps fingerprints away. The screen is surprisingly sharp and bright for a 3.5" device, and the buttons feel responsive enough for classic games. It comes loaded with a huge library, and the interface makes it easy to scroll through and find what you want. Performance is decent for retro titles—great for older systems, though some of the heavier emulators can lag a bit, which is expected at this price point. Battery life is good, and the size makes it super portable—easy to toss into a bag for travel. Definitely not a premium emulator device, but as a budget-friendly retro console, it’s a solid pick and a great little nostalgia machine.

THIS IS NOT AN ANBERNIC PRODUCT!!!! This is a scam. The software is stolen but it is great tbh. The hardware on the other hand is absolutely terrible. The buttons feel like an old tv remote and the d pad doesn’t work or register properly. Has a nice screen tho. ALSO IT BROKE AFTER 5 hours OF PLAY. BRICKED!!!!

It is very easy to add games as well, just take out the microsd card and on a PC copy and paste the roms into the correct system folder and the recognizes them when you out the card back in. I really enjoy using this when Im on long car rides. The interface is very user friendly, and I got to play lots of retro games that are not accessible today!The gamepad is responsive and playing games is a lot of fun. Charging uses a USB-C cable and it seems to have a very long battery life. This is the best handheld I have ever purchased! Everything works great on it. Very impressive game library.

This is the perfect gamers handheld device. It’s the perfect size, The buttons are easy to use and learn to control. The battery life is great and it has so many great options for games. The actual screen quality is great and it works just as described. The sound quality is as expected as well.
