I picked this up to have a compact and inexpensive EDC gaming device for my work/travel satchel. I wanted something highly portable and inexpensive that wouldn't be the end of the world if it got lost, broken or stolen. I also wanted something with a games library preinstalled. Went with the RG36 Pro because it checked all the boxes and also because they offer it in a really cool looking dark green. For whatever reason, green is a color rarely offered on any hand held console at any price. The RG36 Pro arrived very well boxed and packaged from the seller. This little thing is so freaking great! Suits my needs perfectly. Thousands upon thousands of great retro console and arcade classic games ready to play right out of the box, easy to navigate menus, a very colorful and bright screen, clear sound and surprisingly responsive controls. And tons of Youtube reviews and tutorials available to learn how to get the most out of it. The simplest and easiest way to enjoy this device is to just scroll through the game libraries for each retro console and then hit the Y button to save each selected game to a "Favorites" list. Then you can just go straight to your Favorites library from there. For me personally, the RG36 Pro was more than worth it just for Asteroids Deluxe let alone all the other incredible games in my Favorites library. Buy with total confidence, the RG36 Pro is a really cool and super fun to play compact hand held that comes with a massive game library and offers a way better gaming experience than I was expecting at an unbeatable price. If you're looking at one of these as an affordable gift for a kid or adult that loves video games trust me, they'll absolutely love it. I hope this review was helpful to you!

The Colourbing RG36PRO is an awesome handheld for the price. The performance is smooth, the 3.5” IPS screen looks great, and the open-source system gives you a ton of flexibility. The included 64GB card comes packed with games and works right out of the box, so setup was super easy. Battery life is solid, build quality feels good in the hands, and it plays classic systems like GBA, SNES, PS1, and more with no issues. Perfect for travel or just relaxing at home. Overall, incredible value for a retro console. Highly recommended!

For under fifty bucks, this little handheld is a lot of fun. The RG36PRO feels solid in the hand, and the matte finish keeps fingerprints away. The screen is surprisingly sharp and bright for a 3.5" device, and the buttons feel responsive enough for classic games. It comes loaded with a huge library, and the interface makes it easy to scroll through and find what you want. Performance is decent for retro titles—great for older systems, though some of the heavier emulators can lag a bit, which is expected at this price point. Battery life is good, and the size makes it super portable—easy to toss into a bag for travel. Definitely not a premium emulator device, but as a budget-friendly retro console, it’s a solid pick and a great little nostalgia machine.

This thing is worth $47. Simple as that. If you're on the fence about buying one, I'd say go for it. It boots up and runs a pile of games just fine without any issues that I've noticed thus far. It's nice having all the games I played as a kid on one easy to use device. The device is well built for the price and doesn't seem like it's made out of extremely cheap materials like many may expect. It's pretty sturdy. The weight and size is decent, though I kind of wish I bought a bigger device. Not the biggest fan of the joystick buttons either, but that's just personal preference. They work just fine on every game I've tried. Upsides: Easy to use. Enormous variety of games. Games run and save just fine. Battery lasts long enough to never be a problem. Downsides: The LED lights around the two joystick buttons do not turn off, ever. There is no option to turn these lights off and they are annoying. If you are playing this at night, prepare to be blinded by them because they are very bright. Allegedly the only way to turn them off is to take apart the device and actually break stuff. Hundreds of the games available are not properly named either, so searching for them is impossible. This hasn't been a big deal for me, because I've only noticed it on obscure games I don't care to play anyway, but it might be a problem for someone else. All of the "big name" games though are properly named and easy to find. There are a ton of duplicates also in the games, mostly with different languages. If you search for a specific game, you might have 10 results come up with the same name and you'll have to try each one to figure out which is in your preferred language. Overall I give this thing a solid 4/5. Would recommend buying.

I really like this handheld console. It is very easy to use and the color looks great in hand. The design is nice and not boring at all. The game selection is huge, there are many classic games to choose from and it runs them very smooth. The screen looks full and bright, colors are rich and clear, makes playing games more enjoyable. Overall this is a very good device for the price and I enjoy using it a lot. I would definitely recommend buy this if you like retro games and portable gaming.

I was able to find “super mario” and “adventure island”, “tom and jerry”, the 1985 Nintendo version. This game console compiles all different “universe” of Nintendo according to their year (or the console). When you understand the structure of the system, you can dive into one universe and look for your game. There are literally thousands of games. I found this game to be a great travel companion, I used to play the TV game on the airplane seat monitor and this console kills time more fun and better than the airplane or phone. The design is pretty much vintage and buttons almost feel like the old time game machine. Very sturdy and easy to control during the game. Pretty intuitive while playing. Overall worth the money and can be addictive.
