  • Worth the money for large dogs. Plenty of room. Sturdy.
Perfect fit for 60lb shelter mutt that struggled with separation anxiety and did NOT like the fireworks. The front doors are very secure. The smaller holes keep it dark, I have a music box playing for my dog and he is so much less reactive during the day. The tray underneath is so much more secure and easy to work with than on wire crates. The slats are far enough apart the kibble can get through rather than rot, but close enough together it does not hurt their feet. The wheels are awesome and the overall construction is incredibly sturdy. The top door is great for feeding, refilling water, or training. The latches are also insanely secure. I looked at this exact crate before bringing my dog home and I wish I didn't waste $115 on a wire crates and just bought this. ... show more

  • I love this kennel!
I needed a larger, more secure crate for my anxious GSD. He’s not an escape artist or anything, but I do have 3 children and sometimes have guests over. So I wanted a sturdy kennel with smaller holes to make him feel safe, as well as my guests. My GSD is an inside dog 90% of the year, so I wanted a multipurpose kennel. This thing doubles as a table and fits my room nicely. It can be a bit bulky, but it has lockable wheels so you can roll it around for cleaning. It has a catch tray under the floor of the kennel, so the dirt and fur or drool falls through slats and onto tray. The top hatch is a perk for introducing new people and thats what I’ve used it for. I love the large opening doors, but I hate that the latches aren’t spring assisted. I plan on buying aftermarket ones to install for ease of use. Instructions are vague, but if you have put anything together before it’s pretty easy to figure it out. It’s portable within the house, suggesting your doorways are wide enough, thanks to the wheels, but don’t expect to collapse it and take it with you. It is not a travel crate. Other reviews stated that some of the pilot holes for the bolts are not punched out and I did run into that issue. I simply pushed a screwdriver against the potential hole and the plug popped out, try not to cut yourself though. I’ve had this kennel for 3 weeks now and I love it. It does what I intended it to do. Cleaning is easy, it’s sturdy, looks nice, and my dog likes being able to sprawl out. The ONLY thing I can say is that if you dont put a bed inside, the sound of claws on metal echo inside it. So it can be loud. My dog is a chewer so I’ll have to buy a K9 Chew Proof Kennel Bed later on. For now, I went to walmart and bout a carpeted welcome mat to put inside as a test run. So far it’s helped with the loud noise. I would definately recommend it to others, as I would buy it again. ... show more

  • So far so good!
We have had it for about a week, and it has worked great. My husband put it together and didn't seem to have any problems with assembly. My dog is a chewer, so we knew we would need everything to be metal. She doesn't try to break out, and the latches seem to stay in place. I think it does help with her anxiety. With little holes instead of bars, it makes it more private, and she will go in there on her own to nap. It also looks nice, not like a jail cell. I checked the other reviews, and was worried when I saw a different dog breaking out, but if your dog isn't actively banging its whole strong body on the door to escape, the locks should stay in place. My dog is skittish is doesn't like loud noises, so I figured she wouldn't bang on the metal doors. Over all this has worked out perfectly. She likes it, we like it, and it's not ugly. ... show more

  • Great but hard to get dog inside
This crate has been amazing. My dog broke through two wire crates in 2 weeks. I bought this hoping not to buy a $1000 crate and the cost had been worth it. This has kept him contained for 3 weeks now, a record. The metal has not dented or bent from him trying to break out. There were scratch marks on the metal door for two days before I think he gave up and realized he wasn’t making progress. There is nothing to bite and pull on side the crate. At first I was worried about him pulling on the support arms, but I think the angle is too weird for him to grip onto. Which is great for me. The crate looks nice. Kinda like a piece of furniture. It pretty huge for my small apartment. I sat inside it with my 60lb dog trying to get him accustomed to it 😂. We both fit fine. It is hard to get him into the crate given the door is on the side of the crate. I’ve taken to putting him in through the top of the crate since he just quickly turns around and tries to get out through the side door creating more trauma (he has separation anxiety). But it contains him, making this awesome. ... show more

  • Well designed, engineered, and manufactured.
Color: Black and Brown Size: 42 inch
Well designed, engineered, and manufactured. Assembly was straightforward and all components fit well. Our dog is skittish and appears to be more comfortable in the more enclosed compartment.

  • Large cage, possibly unbreakable, like my soul
Color: Black and Gray Size: 48 inch
Its very large. My big booty fit inside of it WITH my 70lb house hippo. My guy is a big baby, but he is super strong. He was burst out of 3 different kennels now. He doesn't really like this one because he hasn't figured out how to get out. House hippo 3 Human 1 All I need to do is win once. This might be it. My guys one goal in life is to be allowed to eat just 1 human, preferablythe mail man. This prevents that superbly thus far. Fingers crossed it continues to do its literal job. Cage and keep the hell hound. Mr Walrus butt. The house hippo/land seal. ... show more

  • amazing product
I have a belgian malinois who loved to escape the basic wire crate and destroy the mat, but after switching to this bad boy the escapes stopped and we still have the mat. Super durable, easy to move around due to the wheels and super accessible with the multiple doors. The doors do bend a little but with some twisting it goes back. With it being a metal crate and my dog being my dog, it is super noisy. If he wants people to know he's in there, you'll know and wont be able to ignore it. I've had this crate for about a year now and I'm about to but another one for the other fur baby just to match. ... show more

  • Large, Thunderously Noisy Crate - Very Pretty, Very Loud, Terrible Seller
Color: Black and Brown Size: 48 inch
Is it huge? Yes, absolutely. Is it aesthetically attractive compared to a normal crate? Sure. But don't be deceived. The metal is SO thin that any movement your dog makes sounds like it's in a locker room. Bang, bang, bang, all night long! If you're planning on keeping this in your bedroom, rethink it. You won't sleep. I was under the impression that the metal would be thicker - but it's flimsy on the sides like aluminum sheeting (although they say it's steel). It sounds like a thunderstorm any time my dog gets up to move in the middle of the night. The wheels lock well. It's not terribly challenging to put together. But the materials really need to be readdressed. The locks work fine, but again, NOISE. Very squeaky, and there are four individual locks, so if you have a dog excited to get out, they're going to have to wait a little extra. Now, with all that said. Heaven forbid you want to return it -- the seller will ask you to pay the COST OF THE CRATE to ship it back. Which makes NO sense. I've gone back and forth with the seller several times, and I completely understand the costs and pressure of being a small business owner, as I'm one myself - it's our income, small business. But there's absolutely no working with this seller, so if you have ANY hope of returning, forget it. Move on. Buy something else. ... show more
