I have been wanting these pants for a while and finally decided to snag a pair. I used the size guide to help me decide what would work best. It's very hard to find clothes that fit me properly. A small would have had the length for me but would have been too loose. An extra small is a little too short, but a better fit for my build. I went with the extra small. While I could use a couple more inches in length, I'm pleased with how they fit on the rest of me. The quality is also great. I can't wait to wear these hiking.

I love these pants! I looked at very expensive hiking pants from well known brands, and I’m so glad I gave these a try. I was immediately impressed by the quality for the money. Are they ultralight? No. But are they stiff and plasticky? Also no. They are a great mid- to heavy duty pair of trousers for adventuring or working on outdoor projects. Quality: The material these are made from is extremely durable and abrasion resistant. The seams appear to be sturdy, as do the zippers, and waist button. I love how sturdy and secure the zippered pockets are. They are placed on the leg, hips, and seat of the pants. All the pockets are generous enough in size to be useful for stowing essentials securely with a phone sized pocket on the front thigh, and plenty of room for your whole hand in the hand warmer pockets. Fit: I am a small woman (5’1”/ 105lbs) and it is difficult for me to find pants that fit, are comfortable, and allow free movement. I bought an XS and they are *perfect* ~ they are long enough to cover the tops of my boots and stay there to prevent insects or poison ivy exposure. The legs taper with adjustable, durable Velcro, making it easy to keep the hem in place over multiple layers of socks/ boots in cold weather or to expose my ankles in warmer weather. I tried these over bare legs, but also with lightweight merino base layer leggings, as well as a thick, insulated fleece leggings; all fit well and are comfortable and allow a free range of motion in my hips and knees. The waist is somewhere between “high” and “mid” but I typically wear high waisted pants. The elastic at the back of the waistband helps hold the pants in place without a belt and without gaps or being too tight. I plan to use these for cool or wet weather hikes and outdoor adventuring. I have a pair of ultralight Fjallravens for hot weather, so these are more for durable rambling through dense brush and wet conditions without fearing that they will get torn up. If you’re on the fence (like I was) because you don’t know the Revolution Race name, go for the “Try Before You Buy” option and see what you think. I am duly impressed. As soon as I put these on, I felt like a badass and knew they would be going with me on my next outdoor adventure.

These are cute, comfy! Not much give though, so go my measurements, my wasit is 29/30 inch hips 39. Sometimes I can wear a small or large in clothes because of material but these pants are a medium and fit good. I'm 5'5.75" 153lbs

What ever size you think you are, go up two sizes! I thought I’d be a large so I ordered an XL as I saw that this item might be small… nope, XL did not fit so I had to order a XXL which to me seems super crazy but the XL just barely fit (it wouldn’t have been comfortable). I do have large hips but still… I haven’t gotten the XXL yet but front what I can tell from my returned XL pants, they seem like good quality material which is what I was looking for.

I liked my first pair of pants (in digital camo) so much that i ordered a second pair (in blue) in the next larger size, finding the first pair just a tad too snug if i wanted to wear long johns under them. I ordered the exact same model but they are different. No ventilation zippers on the thighs, velcro instead of snaps on the ankles. Pockets are slightly different. but they work very well for the intended use (riding dual sport motorcycle). I can comfortably wear knee guards on the outside of the pants and there is no uncomfortable bunching of material behind my knees. The black on the pants is a different material which stretches and breathes, adding to my comfort on long rides in hot weather. I am 5'11" with 34" waist and 36" inseam. The tag says these are "Revolution Race Nordwand Pants" EU XL/42 US 32' They have elastic in the back of the waist (i wish it didn't) They fit loose but not too loose for me. There is one cargo style pocket on the front of the right thigh. It is too narrow to slide my cell phone into and way too narrow to fish out any loose coins. So basically just decoration. Hey, manufacturers: Women need functional pockets too! However, there are TWO nice wide, deep pockets (with good, easy zippers!) just below the usual front slant pockets. Useful and functional! Kudos!! There is also a zippered pocket on the right buttock. I use a small bifold wallet and found it easy to slip the wallet in and out and use the zipper. I like these pants and hope they hold up well for the hard use i bought them for.

I ordered the army green color in medium. Love these pants - they stretch in the right areas for hiking/backpacking and are durable and warm enough for winter weather in the Northern Virginia area. I just did an overnight at dolly Sods, and had no hesitations through brush, sitting on any surface, or any concern that I would snag the material. The waist/crotch area is a little big but allows for plenty of room for things in pockets (which are all big enough to fit my phone in and I love how the pockets either are zippered (back two and side thigh) or Velcro (front leg). The three minor issues (that I have found in almost all pants) is they are definitely too short for me - I am 6’ tall and have a 37”inseam - not that I want them that long but they barely come to the top of my boot. Only plus to that is my pant legs won’t trail in mud. Second issue also mentioned in other reviews - they are pretty tight in the thighs. I have a very slim body but muscular legs and these are tight - but still love them enough to keep. Lastly - I do feel that $90 for these pants is a bit much.
