    • Best sunglasses on the ocean - ever!
These are, by far, the most expensive sunglasses I've ever bought. That said, they've been worth every cent. I live in Hawaii and go kayak fishing on the ocean. The sun is intense here and having good protection and visual clarity in the water is essential. These Revos are amazing. The brighter and more intense the sun, the better I can see structure and fish below the surface of the water. It's uncanny. These glasses are so good that I was able to clearly watch a large Tiger Shark follow my catch up to my kayak and then stalk me for about 5 minutes afterward. I could see its stripes and the small pilot fish ahead of it. While I could see it easily, my GoPro wasn't able to cut through the glare the same way the glasses could, hence the video ended up being very disappointing.     • Great Lenses
I bought these for good coverage and great polarization. So far they are awesome. I prefer the Revo H2O lens over Costa and Maui Jim. Nothing against the others but the glare reduction is phenomenal and the lenses crystal clear. I used them for the first time at Laguna Beach on a super bright day and they were fantastic. The only lens I feel might possibly be better is Vuarnet. The frames fit me well but that’s subjective. They do feel a little plasticy and while the hinges do snap closed, which I like, they might be plastic. I can’t tell. I’ve not had them long enough to comment on durability. I will agree with others that the case is a bit small and it seems that the temples get squished a little when putting them in. Not a big deal but it is annoying and I use a larger case so as to not stress the frame in storage. It would have been nice to have included the keeper strap with the glasses, especially at this price point. One last thing, if you are often using LCD screens, the Revo polarization does not interfere with reading the screen, which is rather nice. ... show more

This is my fourth pair of these Revo mirrored glasses. Unfortunately I dropped two pair over the past 10 years and the lenses cracked. Thought I would get the non breakable lenses but they always seem out of focus. Had them for 3 years without dropping. The glass lenses are so much clearer, same style but much better. Love Revo quality and have never had an issue with the frames. ... show more

I have had my glasses less than a year. Accidentally dropped them and it shattered the lens. Contacted company to repair the lens. They do not have lens replacement. Offered me a 50% off coupon on a new pair. Very expensive glasses to have this happen. I do not want to order another pair for the high price/low quality. The grips on the sides rip your hair. I have been wanting a nice pair of aviator style glasses that are actual glass lenses. I wanted Ray Bans but they cannot guaranty glass lenses I ordered 3 pairs not one of them had glasses lenses. Ray Bans reply to me was order the G-15 lens nonpolarized and I will have a better chance at getting the glass lens. No thank you Ray Ban it shouldn't be this hard to get a glass lens if you offer it. How about you list your glass lens sunglasses as glass (crystal) Ray Ban calls them crystal its a polymer glass mix. Then I found out Revo was still manufacturing glass lens sunglasses I went to their site WOW they list which glasses have glass lenses and which are plastic. Hey Ray Ban take notes on that. The glasses are great they have the weight I expected from a glass lens yes they are heavier then plastic. Why glass the main reason CLARITY no plastic lens can ever match a glass lens when it comes to clarity. The frame is nice it sits good on my large head the color of the lens is misrepresented in the picture they are not clear blue they are a mirrored blue with the classic green tint I love these glasses and buying them on Amazon saved me almost 50% list 300 at REVO I paid 175 here ... show more

    • Incredible customer service from the vendor + top quality product
Up front - the delivery was a nightmare - but the vendor went way beyond the call to make sure the situation was rectified AND remained in frequent contact until such time as we unfucked the delivery (big name delivery service). As for the glasses themselves, FAR better quality than "O"'s selling for double the price. If the little letter means more to you than top quality, go with the "O" and God bless. (after all, God takes care of fools and sailors, and you are not in the Navy). No, SEALs do not wear "O's" because of the quality - but because supply department provides them - but then, so does your local carnival for winning a ring toss.... If you want luxury customer service, dependable, ultra-high quality eyewear - then go with REVO. If you prefer to piss away your money and take it up the tailpipe, go with the "o". ... show more

I have had Revo glasses for many years. Sadly, I had my blue glass lens glasses stolen. Without hesitation I purchased another pair. These glasses are great. I prefer the modified design/shape from the traditional aviator rims. Best lenses out there.
