This is advertised as an essential, budget-range hair dryer, and at a glance I can see why. It's definitely made from cheaper plastic - I have another dryer from this same brand which feels higher-quality, with better materials and more attention to detail. That said, this new model functions amazingly. It's just as powerful and just as functional as my higher-end version. It has multiple heat settings, and has plenty of strength to dry my hair very quickly. The ceramic tourmaline ionic technology claims to reduce frizz in the drying process, and I do think I've noticed a reduction in frizz using this versus my other hair dryer. This hair dryer is awesome! I needed one without any unnecessary fancy features, and this is perfect. It has the necessary heat settings, gets my hair dried much quicker than my old hair dryer, and is easy to take with me while traveling.

This Revlon Perfect Match Hair Dryer is about the same size as another hair I have, but it has a more streamlined shape. This makes it more compact and also more stylish. But, I feel like it is a little less powerful. That could just be because the end where the air comes out isn't as wide. It does a good job of drying my hair -- it just isn't super fast. I guess it is good for concentrating the air, and it also has an attachment for that purpose. What I really like about it is that it has a lot of settings for a compact model.
