My hair is a hot mess usually. I am very low-maintenance/lazy (lol) and my typical process is to wash my hair every 2-3 days, air dry, then usually wear it in a clip or bun. Sometimes I can wear it down on day 2, but I have what I recently learned is called “Irish curls,” so the top layer of my hair is straight, but underneath is fairly wavy. Typically, this results in super poofy/frizzy hair that looks wild. Hence why I just wear it up for the most part. Thought I could start trying to make my hair look a little nicer and bought this hoping it would be easy and efficient. It took me about 20 minutes to blow dry, and it was a whole lot easier than using a standard blow dryer. The brush and the entire device is a bit larger than I would like and the motor is a bit loud, but not overwhelming. I like that it doesn’t get too hot- even on the high setting. The brush is excellent, I think- really gets through knots, even in my wet hair. Overall, makes blow drying very easy. Made my hair straighter than it usually is. Left a little bump/poof in the back I couldn’t get too. My hair was still a bit frizzy/flyaways but I used Garnier anti-frizz serum after and that helps a little. I kind of wanted something that really straightening my hair while brushing/blow-drying, but most items on the market have barrel brushes and those don’t work well for my frizzy hair. I think I will keep this product and try it a few more times. Does the job and makes it easy. First picture is the final result after serum. 2nd and third pictures are partway through using (one side not done, one side mostly done). Fourth picture is the back that is still a bit wavy. I'm so glad I bought this as it really works for my combo type 4b/c hair. My hair is the thickest in the crown and this new dryer glided thru my hair with ease. It cut my hair drying time in half and my blow out was very straight too. I highly recommend this awesome dryer.

I have long thick and coarse natural African American hair. My hair length is to my bra strap. Pro: This blow dryer is a great convenience for those with long and thick hair. The handle doesn't hurt my hands, and I don't get to wore out while using it. Blows out a good amount of heat as well. Con: I would suggest using it to dry small sections (especially if you have my type of hair), as the brush doesn't do so well with drying the roots of the hair close to the scalp in bigger sections. I had to let the brush sit close to my scalp for a few seconds to get rid of the puffy roots. However my roots picked up shortly afterwards. The brush collects hair product and it will be brushed right back into your hair. Unfortunately the brush is not detachable. You have to take some time to sit and clean the bristles of the brush to remove built up product. I suggest using sanitizing wipes, as you can use the cloth to really grip the bristles, and it doesn't have too much moisture on the blow-dryer. You can also use q-tips with rubbing alcohol. Conclusion: Overall I am okay with it. Getting used to using it and figuring out what works for me. I would recommend the dryer if you don't care about your roots puffing up and for the convenience of not worrying about a detachable comb dropping off the blow dryer while doing your hair.
