I bought this particular hair dryer for the diffuser. I am a Cancer survivor (yeah!!) and as a result, I have some crazy curls that I don't know well how to handle yet. This dryer has warm and hot settings, with a cool option, too, to help set your hair style, and all of these options function properly. The diffuser does a nice job of getting the roots dry and helping to define the curls, rather than them just poofing out in whatever direction. It works great! No problems at all with the dryer mechanically. It's well built and a quality product. Very happy I purchased this blow dryer ! Dries hair fast and made very good! Love I can hang the blow dryer up when not using it! Very convenient! The only problem is the attachments do not fit on the dryer easy . Hard time putting the attachments on so I do not use them! It’s ok because the blow dryer is fine without it! In a nutshell, this gets the job done, comes with a good bit of accessories for the price, but it isn’t extraordinary. Doesn’t get as hot as other dryers. If you want more details and a more in depth review, feel free to keep reading. If not, above is my overall opinion. I bought this as a replacement for my older Revlon blow dryer, and as much as I loved it, I feel like it runs hotter than other dryers. I wanted something that could be potentially less damaging for my hair and also allow for dryer attachments which this new model has. For the price, this model comes with a lot! I loved the accessories that it came with! So far I have only used the condenser and clips, and I have like them so far. I’ve had issues with other dryers and attachments falling off mid styling, and I have not had that happen once with this dryer. It blow dries hair just fine and does it’s job nicely. I will say it is definitely less hot. I’m not sure if it is because I’m used to the heat of my old dryer, but I do feel like it’s hot setting is comparable to warm on others. As for the “infrared technology” I honestly haven’t noticed a difference. I do feel like it takes a little longer than my other dryer, but I guess that is what you get with the lack of heat. Like I said, overall it does the job for the price and I like the accessories so I’m going to keep it. I just wish it had a little bit more heat. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This blow dries my hair in less than 10 minutes. It blows dry with very little frizz and does it pretty straight. I used to hate blow drying my hair because I would get this puffy curly mess. I will be buying more of these for my daughters and recommending this to all of my friends. I was a little sceptical buying this since some reviews were really bad. My husband has curly hair and I straight hair, so we wanted a hair dryer that addresses both our needs. I've had this for over a month now and the both of us have no complaints over this. It is a great size to use at home and has great power to dry the hair. The diffuser is a little hard to fix to the hair dryer, but you get used to it after a while. And the plastic is sturdy for day to day use. I of course don't heat my hair for prolonged time, so can't comment about heavy usage. If you want a decent hair dryer that does the job for an affordable price, this is it!
