I just needed a basic solid brush at a low price, but not junk. Without the current COVID everything at home situation, I'm not buying clothes or makeup or hair styling products like I normally do because I have a decent stash and don't know when I'll have a full-time income again. But to continue feeling human and taking care of myself, I have kept up my hair care and skin care. I tend to lose brushes a lot because I'm constantly switching bags and whatnot and lose track of them. I generally trust the Revlon brand and prefer oval brushes with teeth like this one or padded brushes. I have a lot of hair, but it's very straight and fine. I'm using this time to give my hair a break from styling and my skin a break from makeup, so I really just needed a simple brush to run through my hair to keep it from tangling when it air dries. (Taking a break from the application of heat like hair dryers.) I was happy with this brush, which I bought quite recently. But, within a few weeks or so, the head broke off from the handle. But, given the other reviews and my being somewhat hard on brushes and it's not made of titanium or anything, I'm going with the possibility that I just got a lemon, so I'm giving it another shot and buying a replacement, which I wouldn't do for a more expensive brush. I'd still recommend it if unless you have thick or textured hair which would require more vigorous brushing that this one might not withstand it. I love this brush. It wasn't quite what I was looking for, but it turned out to be better than the brush it replaces. Bristles are spaced so I can brush my short-ish hair without damage. My kids’ favorite brush. Used on very long hair both wet and dry. I’m glad it comes in multiple colors, since that reduces arguments at our house. It’s a durable brush, travels in purses, duffel bags, gym bags, and the footwells of cars. I don’t think they’ve broken one yet.
