I will simply say that I love this stuff dearly. I use it every day damp my hair and put some of this in get out the blow dryer and blow it right into my combover and following that I use their gel as well to just coat the top of the hair that is already sitting almost exactly how it needs to be and the gel will keep it in place and looking good all day. NOW--- the part I am very disappointed in are the ingredients. They could do better they really could to eliminate harmful ingredients. Lets take for example the dye. It does not need dye and I do not want to put dye on my skin that is now being absorbed unnecessarily into my body. This product could go without fancy coloring and be just as attractive if not more attractive to use and the quality will not lack by any means. Please get rid of not needed ingredients....

Just sharing that I received mine, ordered Dec 2022, and it arrived "clear." Read some reviews that they were having issues with it being cloudy on arrival. I am going to try the blue one next. While this doesn't smell bad, my barber uses what I thought was this, but I guess its the blue version. I loved the smell of it and this isn't the same. Still a good product so far.

This product surpassed my expectations. I’ve used numerous tonics and sprays. While all have their attributes, this grooming tonic checks all boxes. It’s good for the scalp, leaves hair looking and feeling healthy, and serves as a solid pre-styler.. It’s also an impressive standalone product for a relaxed, flexible style. I have thick, heavy hair and this grooming tonic is the one essential product I won’t be without.

This is a great addition to your hair care products! Light viscosity and glides into hair. Apply to damp hair and blow dry for extra volume and control before applying your pomades or styling creams. This can also be used by itself (especially if you already have thick hair) if you don't like to cake product into your hair. It will add a light hold and control frizzies. I've always had fine straight hair so I use this as a base when I get out of the shower. I use this product along with quite a few of their water-based pomades and I absolutely love it! I also love the aesthetic that they are going for; that classic Barber shop feel. I'm not too crazy about the smell, but it's not offensive either. The fragrance does not give me that classic Barber shop smell. I think of barbershops and I think of the smell of talc or a soft mature man's cologne or aftershave. This smells like a fruit scent car-freshener. It's not offensive and it doesn't stink. It still smells clean, but by no means gives me that barber shop fragrance. And the fragrance dissipates after a short while anyway so I guess it doesn't matter too much. Amazing product!

Works with or without blow drying to, respectively, give my hair a lovely matte or shiny look. Only issue is it smells like bubblegum. And it's a strong scent. I'll keep catching whiffs for ~6hrs. I know bubblegum is somehow in fashion in men's fragrances now, but this makes you smell like a 6 year old in a candy shop.

A lot of complaints about the smell and while it isn’t the most pleasant; it not as bad as a lot of people make it seem. The smell goes away quickly too, my wife had noticed the smell in my hair after applying. If you’re sensitive to strong smells, you’re gonna want to avoid this. Now does it work; sure does and it works great. Gave my hair the wet look that I wanted. How wet you want your hair to look depends on how much water you use to dampen your hair. It handles sweat and wearing a hard hat for 8 hours but it’ll lose the wet look and turn into a messy hair kinda look. Overall I would buy it again but would hope for a version with a better smell. I’m the mean time I’ll just won’t over do it with just using a handful and applying cologne or aftershave when I walk out the door.
