I think there is a specific demographic that this game console targets and it is definitely the older generations that grew up with this video games. We were used to the poor graphics and slow response times of these games and these are almost an exact replica of those games. The kids of today will be disappointed with these unless it is their game console that they start off with. The graphics on gaming systems of today are so far advanced that it is a huge step backwards for them to play something like this. But people that are 40+ will definitely enjoy these. The menu starts with loud music. The games come in a list order many repeat themselves some are classics, some are made up, some are japanese or chinese, and some just dont work. The media could not be loaded. So it runs into some of the problems other games like this do, my number one complaint is that I can't save the game. I will probably never run through a game of super mario, so I'll never play the later levels! The games are repeatative there are like 4 versions of Donkey Kong 1, other games are also repeated. Immediately fell in love with this game and the controllers as it reminds me of my childhood and my teenage years playing video games on throwback, this is so nostalgic of the '80s and '90s. I showed this to my teenage son and he is loving it as well! Definitely playing with it all the time because there's just so many choices included with the console itself. You can stand it up, the on/off button is in a very convenient spot and it plays like modern day consoles would with using the buttons beside the screen or using a remote control, two players can play many of the games on here. I really can't pick a favorite game because they're all wonderful! Comes with the HDMI cables as well as a charger cable so you can just charge it up and take it with you if you choose.
