As other reviews have already mentioned, this emulator allows you to play video games from the 2000's and earlier on your flat screen TV. The retro stick comes with games originally made for Sega Genesis, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, PlayStation I, Game Boy, Game Gear, etc. A wide-variety of games are available, many classics like Super Mario Brothers, Sonic, Zelda, Donkey Kong Country, Street fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, Final Fantasy, etc. and also those not so familiar (games only released in Japan and other foreign countries). The 44,000 games is somewhat misleading because each game listed has several versions provided (USA, Japan, Euro country, etc.). It would be better if they just provided the USA version of each game, which would streamline things and make it easier to go through the lists. Even with just the USA versions, there's so many games on the stick, you will never run out. Btw, setup instructions are clear and setup is easy and fast, so while it looks confusing and difficult to set up, it's not. Since the stick is so small, it hides behind your TV and with the controllers being wireless, you get a gaming system that you can hide entirely when needed and without any clutter. Physical build of all the components is great. The controllers are well-built and feel solid. For the price you pay, they are excellent quality. No lag time with them being wireless, so button response time is excellent. Being wireless allows you to sit comfortably away from the TV. The retro stick is well-built, light in weight, and relatively small. It's easy to plug into the back of your tv and if space is tight, the HDMI extension cord provided will take care of that. There is no power adapter included for the USB power cable (the only component not provided) but it's not a big deal because most modern flat screen TVS have at least one or more powered USB slots in the back, which should provide enough power to operate the retro stick. I've plugged the USB power cable into one of my TV's USB slots in the back next to the HDMI slot that the retro stick is plugged into and it powers the retro stick, no adapter needed. FYI: The provided micro memory card IS ALREADY INSERTED into slot on the retro stick (that's why you can't find it in the box), so you can save your progress when playing games. 64 GB is more than enough when saving progress for these types of games. The interface of the emulator is well-designed. You can favorite games which then populate a favorites list so you don't have to keep searching for them. There's also a recently played list. Games are broken down in categories based on the gaming platform. Interface is easy to navigate and no lag time. Games load quickly and graphics have been formatted to fit on widescreens. I've already tried out a bunch of games and have had no issues playing so far. Games appear to be the full and real versions of the games. The best part is that I am able to play games from my childhood and games that I was aware of, but never had the chance to play because I didn't have that particular video game system. Two controllers means I can also play two player games with my wife. All in all, for what you get at the current price point, I think it's a great deal and a great way to revisit your childhood or share it with younger generations.

One of the games show a naked man running around chasing women. If the man, with his private parts hanging out, catches a woman before the cops do he has - - - with them. This is terrible!! I bought it because the advertisement I saw said it had all of the old games like Pac- Man. So I will not be giving this to my child. A terrible experience.

Seems to indeed have around 40,000 games. Some of them work, some don’t. some games that work have missing functions. For instance, Resident Evil 1 PS1 has no sprint function. I tried all the buttons. Medal of Honor PS1 I had issues with selecting a controller mapping on the game, and then it didn’t change any of the functions in game. Some of the games have US/EU/UK/JPN release versions which is cool but that is 4 of the games included. One of the systems has multiple copies of all of the versions of one game. The controllers and connection work pretty good. Overall, pretty fun and cool to see some older games! Just don’t expect it to be perfect and expect games to potentially have some missing functions.

Well it has all the nostalgia games you would want but you can only play like half of them because half of them you can't save on and another half of them are only in Chinese so you can't read it to play it. Has eight pokémon games but you cannot save on any of them. All the Sonic games are in Chinese useless. Same with all the mega Man in Chinese. So I was really looking forward to this product but I have to say I'm kind of disappointed

Over 8000 games that you have to scroll through and most of the games are the same game but different region variations. There is no menu to choose which console game you want to play you just have to keep scrolling. DON’T WASTE your money
