If you've played a lot of retro games and miss those olden days, you'd love this gaming Console! It has a simplistic and minimal design, yet completely functional. Setting it up was a breeze — it simply plug and play. All you need to do is connect HDMI output of the console to HDMI input of TV, using included cable. Then, you need to connect it to a power source, using USB adapter. Turn on TV, select correct HDMI port, turn on remotes. That's it! The remotes need 2 AAA batteries each (so 4 total), which are not included. It comes with 9 emulators supporting 20,000+ games across multiple consoles like NES, Sega etc. The controllers do feel cheap and don't have the same look and feel as PS or XBox controllers, which is understandable given their lower price. They are however very responsice and perform much better than they look. It's possible to save and load states, add your favorite games to collection and search games by name. Lot of popular games from companies like CapCom, Konami etc. are either not named correctly (i.e. you'll find remakes) or not present at all. I was not able to find Mario and Chip & Dale using search. Circus Charlie was present but look and feel was completely different. The graphics aren't impressive, to be honest, but they are very smooth. I'll take better, responsive gameplay over a clear/sharp but sluggish gameplay, any day. Limitations: - My biggest gripe with this is that the included charger cable is very short. You'll definitely need power cord extension, unless your power outlet is right behind the TV. As you can see in the photos, it is extremely limiting. That's why I couldn't connect to TV just yet (waiting for my extension cord). I tried it on my PC monitor which doesn't have built-in speaker. - The menu options show 'Controls', but I have no idea to select it and modify controls. If I find it, I'll update review. - For some games, the language isn't English and I don't think you can change it. If I find it, I'll update review. If you're already playing high resolution, immersive games on advanced consoles like PC, XBox, PS or even on mobile, you might be left wanting more from this console. However, if you miss the 90s and 2000s, I'd recommend this for Nostalgia factor, if you want to revisit some old classics OR if want to introduce your younger kids to gaming and get them familiarized with how to use the controllers.

Bought this to play games which I played as a kid and wanted to have fun playing it with my kids. Kids loved it too. We are looking forward for weekend to play together again. Setup is easy as it is just plug n play and controller are sturdy enough for casual playing. Bought an second set to play on 2nd TV.

Setting it up was very simple, just pop in the batteries, plug it in, and voila! With hundreds of preloaded games, the fun never stops. This is perfect for playing games with controller. If you like playing games with console. This connects with TV via hdmi. Only drawback is charging wire is small. But it worked for me as I have charging point on mounted tv. Good to play games with kids.

I had to buy a gift and the top of his list was a game console but unfortunately that was way out of my budget. I purchased this, not getting my hopes up too high. In full honesty, I expected a bunch of random games I had never heard of. I was pleasantly surprised to find quite a few games that I recognized from my childhood. There are tons and tons of games to choose from, too! I haven't even gone through the entire list yet. For the price, this is a pretty cool gift

The media could not be loaded. Just received my gaming stick couldn’t wait to open it. Real easy setup just insert batteries on controller and plug and play. Visual picture appearance and audio is great. Let the gaming begin!!
