Love this radio for the price - installed in my 1966 C10 show truck because I had a modern Jensen that did not look right. This radio was easy to install and sounds great with Bluetooth - a must have for me.. This is not a deep radio, it is only 3.5” deep so it fit perfectly for my truck as there is not room for a full length radio, and it is lite so it doesn’t require extra support. Only thing - It does NOT come with the radio sleeve mount, fortunately it fit my old Jensen mount perfectly so I was good to go, otherwise buy a sleeve radio mount or you can’t install it. ... show more

Cheaply made but thats to be expected at a 15 dollar price point. Took me an hour to install and after running it for about 10 minutes the back of the receiver was hot to touch which evokes minimal confidence that it's not just a fire hazard waiting to happen on longer drives. Backlight doesn't stay whatever color you choose for it which is frustrating but may or may not be my fault, I'll have to consult the manual again. I also have background static on every source I use. May be some electrical issues on my side, not sure. Either way, it's 15 bucks. Happy it's not just a happy meal toy at that price. Edit: After about a week of use the stereo now randomly shuts off at random intervals and sometimes comes back on. Triple checked my wiring and nothings out of place. Now the only thing that works is the charge port and even that is sub par. I have a cigarette lighter charger that charges better. Disappointed with my purchase honestly. I'll have to buy another stereo now, and I will be dropping more money after this. ... show more

Good luck getting customer support if you purchase this radio. It works but it came without a manual. Amazon support gave out an email and a website for the manufacturer, both are wrong. The company does not respond to feedback either. It looks fine and the sound is marginal. As to quality, meh, without the ability to contact the manufacturer I cannot endorse the build. ... show more

I bought this radio because I wanted something inexpensive that would potentially be subject to the elements, installed on a golf cart. For the price, the build quality is better than I had expected. Switched on, it does run quite warm (guessing power regulation) even if it's not playing anything. Display is too dim to be seen in direct sunlight, but shaded with a hand it's legible. Clock that sets itself to the radio signal is a nice touch (requires antenna). FM reception on a small twin dipole antenna stuck to the plastic canopy of the cart is modest. MPX hiss is present on even the strongest local station; selecting MONO provides clear FM. AM reception surprisingly good during the day. Bluetooth connected to an iPhone and Samsung Android phones without any issues, audio quality is good. In terms of power output, "real world" it sounds to my untrained ears about 8 Watts per channel which is significantly better than I had expected. I would give it 4.5 stars but I can't do that, so simply for the value it leans to 5- based upon the assumption it's never going to win any soundoffs because it's not designed to. If you want a basic, but good value radio and are willing to live with a few shortfalls this isn't a bad choice. Edit update: average idle current is 13mA so if it's fitted to a vehicle that sits non operational for a while you may want to consider a disconnect or a float charger. I have a solar panel that provides an average of 65mA in direct sunlight so is enough to keep on top of the radio keep-alive draw. ... show more

This thing looked great. Install was easy. But... It worked great during "dry run* installation. Then I disconnected the 12v battery again to complete installation bolted it in. Hooked up 12v power and nothing. So, unbolted, pulled, checked all connections and fuses. Nothing wrong Unplugged it and plugged back in, and it was fine. Bolted up, tested again and fine. Diconnected battery for another project and after repower, the radio was "dead" again but the bluetooth was pulling my phone off of my shop's speaker. No sound though. Grabbed a flashlight and could see modes dimly lit on the radio face, but no sound or funtion on fm or bt. Unbolted, and disconnected then reconnected again. Everyting worked. Turned it off for another project and the dim lights no sound thing happened again on power cycle. Unplugged and plugged back in, radio came alive again. Thought i would just quit turning it off and deal with it. Tried to program presets. Couldn't get any radio stations to preset. even though directions were easy to follow. On my third attempt, the radio just powered off during the preset process. Hit the power button and it came back on and started from 87.50 again. That scenario happened three more times at random points while tuning to the desired station in the next two minutes. Decided I might have a faulty unit. Bought a different radio from a large retailer locally and all is well after three days and multiple power cycles. TLDR: Looked good, but mine didn't work consistently. Excellent-looking and inexpensive copy of the Becker Europa radio. Perfect for your vintage foreign car. Radio and USB functions work okay. The usb music emits a faint fluttering noise, and the radio reception is good, not excellent. I didn't try the Bluetooth function. The buttons don't line up, but that can be solved by sliding a strip of rubber under them. ... show more
