**Final Update** Update. Day 7 after receiving shoulder mics** After i posted my reviews, Retevis has replaced my 2 shoulder mics that weren't working and, so far, everything is working as expected and advertised. I appreciate the effort in correcting this issue that Retevis has shown throughout. The walkie talkies (RT22) and shoulder mics, when working, are amazing. I bought them for my warehouse employees and our warehouse is over 65,000 sq ft and we have no issues with connection whatsoever. Sound is crystal clear. I highly recommend! **Update. Day 5 after receiving shoulder mics** As mentioned previously, one of the mics did not work at all and now a 2nd one is starting to fail. You can hardly hear anything (incoming and outgoing). **ORIGINAL REVIEW** I'm writing this review simply to try to reach out to Retevis in hope that they replace the one shoulder mic that did not work. These worked well with our Retevis H777, H777S, & R21. Comfortable size & good sound. Definitely worth it. I made the mistake of getting the smaller curved version the last time, because they were cheaper, but these are with the few extra dollars. Built well. Don’t feel cheap construction wise. Not as good as a name brand professional mic, but almost. I will purchase again. And they are easy to grab & use. Buy them!! ... show more

I use these type of speaker mics in a loud manufacturing facility and need them inexpensive since we work around a lot of raw steel and the cords get cut frequently. I have tried many others which had better, more robust packaging but the sound quality was always hit-or-miss. These by far are the loudest I have used. Connected to my MD-380 they blast speech when someone calls. The TX quality is acceptable as-is but you will notice there are three lines indicating the location of the mic. If you take a small knife and drill a small hole in the line on the right, you will open up the condenser and then it picks up sound fantastically. If you look really close you can see the pinprick opening the manufacturer placed for speech. This is where you need to place a hole. The condenser is about 1/4" behind the housing so as long as you don't drill too hard and go to deep, you wont hurt anything. ... show more

DO NOT buy these if they will be used for anything more than weekend comms with the kids. These were easy to install, use, and attach to gear. They did not communicate well at all. Missed radio calls, unintelligible transmissions, and extremely poor quality lead us to ban this entire brand at our work site. Two incidents of poor communication were directly liked to accidents we had onsite. Amazon accepted our return request with no difficulty. Save yourself a headache, an accident, or worse, an injury and stay away from these. After removing them and using the radios by themselves, we have been very happy with the Quansheng handheld. If you look at the older reviews, there were many 5 and 4 star; conversely, after 2018, most are not so good. Believe the new ones and see that the clarity and quality have taken a dive. Wish I would have trusted My initial impression.... Great price, but what's the rest of the story?? ... show more
