This amazon storage rack is awesome. Easy to put together and is visually appealing. It's light weight, cost effective, and convenient My complaint is with the connecting plastic pieces which are a little annoying to snap the metal grids in place. Just make sure you really snap them in, there shouldn't be large gaps between the grid and the insert on the plastic connectors. If there is you didnt snap them in properly. If you look at some photos from other customers its clear they are not snapped in appropriately. The grids shouldn't be lopsided or not connected all of the way. If you do it right, zip ties aren't necessary, but in the event a connector piece is defective or damaged you could get away with zip ties. Will likely purchase more in the future as needed. *tip: if you find it difficult which it can be to snap the grid into the connector, you can use pliers and some cloth for the pliers to bite on to give leverage in bringing the grid into the connector all the way. ... show more

These are very easy to put together. When you lock in the second side of plastic circles, these shelves are rock solid. I like that they are minimalist, and can be put together and broken down quickly with no tools. I put them in a closet to account for unused space under a hanging area, and they are perfect there. I don't know how they would hold up to very heavy loads, but I stacked books in two of the sections, and they are fine for that. ... show more

Easy to put together Only broke 1 of the plastic adapters. Recomend after assembly to use zip ties(cable ties) to prevent them from coming undone. also note the proper size bins are the 10.5x10.5x10.5 as Should have known by the dimensions but the recomendation by Rufus had the 13x13 bins in the recomendation list. You have to fully click them into place once all together, but these are my favorite closet shelves + acrylic drawers. Stable, customizable, inexpensive, good standin for a lack of other items, like side tables. I just squish down the sides to make sure to click all of the corners into place. The back panel is optional for the cubes to stay stable; I personally only put them every other one, if at all to add stability if needed so that I can make a few extra cubes ... show more
