While it mixes well, the smaller rubber mixers tend to rip. I had one tear on me while cleaning the resin off of it and now it makes me nervous to use that piece. The bigger pieces create a lot of bubbles unless you're mixing a bit deeper. Overall it mixes well though.

Just wipe the blade with a baby wipe and it's super easy to keep clean. Someone else stated the base is flimsy, which it is, but it's no big deal. I understood what I bought and the price as soon as I opened it. Took about 20 button pushes to turn on. Did that about 5 times before I realized you push the button, if it don't turn on, squeeze the sides and it will turn on, you don't have to keep squeezing, but that initial one... almost every time you use it ... show more

    • Works ok for thin resigns but not thick ones. It gets the job done.

It works well enough with thin resigns. It mixes slowly which helps keep bubbles from forming. The paddles are rubbery so they can rub up against the container walls while you are mixing stuff. Depending on the pot life I mix it for a couple of minutes or so. This mixer is only good for mixing small batches of resign etc. By this I mean a couple of ounces or so. I'd use a cordless drill to mix LARGE batches of silicone or resign or use paint sticks. The base is flimsy so I gave it a 4 star rating. It is easy to make a better holder out of scrap material. Keep the rubber paddles away from lacquer they will melt! If you want something that is stronger and faster Amazon has a Badger Air-Brush 121 Paint Mixer with a metal paddle. It is strong but you will have to slow it down while mixing the silicon or resign because the shaft spins very FAST as it is designed to mix hobby paint bottles. ... show more

I admit, I do still give a final stir with my stick to make sure it’s completely mixed before adding pigments or glitter, and it is a little slow in thicker, top coating resins; but overall I’m very pleased with my purchase. ... show more
