I've had the microscope less than a week and am still learning how to use it. In order to get the camera tool they offer for free once you purchase, they require an Amazon review. I would've liked more time working with the microscope to develop a mature opinion, but since I need the camera tool, here I am at 5 days in. The brightness is excellent. So far I have good focus with the 4x, 10x & 40x lenses. I am waiting for my immersion oil to come before I can review the 100x lens. I am using this microscope for the study of lactobacillus, acetobacter and yeasts. I comes with a very good carrying and protective case and 3 eyepieces: 10x, 16x and 25x. I wasn't expecting to get all 3 so that was pleasing. The body of the microscope is metal which is also pleasing vs. cheap plastic. It comes with slides and covers which is nice not to have to make an additional purchase for those items. It does not come with any prepared slides in case you wanted some. It does not come with a full body microscope cover, but I see on Amazon this company sells them for this model and are quite inexpensive. The LED screen does lose clarity through transmission, but perhaps that is to be expected with all microscope screen adapters and cameras for this price range <?> I don't have experience with other microscope still-shot and/or video cameras to know. I gave only 3 stars for beginner friendliness, because if you aren't familiar with microscopes, the instructions aren't the greatest. However, if you do a YouTube search for this brand of microscope, they do have assembly instruction & LED screen instruction videos which are helpful.

It provided a convenient alternative to traditional eyepieces, allowing for comfortable and effortless viewing. The screen quality was excellent, providing accurate color representation and sharp image details. It was particularly useful when working in a group setting, as multiple people could observe the specimen simultaneously without straining their eyes. The 5MP E-Eyepiece was a fantastic addition, enabling the capture of high-resolution images and videos directly from the microscope. This feature proved incredibly valuable for documentation purposes and sharing findings with colleagues. The images obtained were clear, vibrant, and easily transferable to other devices for further analysis or presentations. One aspect that impressed me was the two-layer mechanical stage. I got this microscope for my daughter as a birthday gift since she loves science. This microscope can go up to 2500x magnification which is insane and it opens up a whole new world for her. We’ve been going around collecting rainwater in grass/dirt patches and found some with water bear. It’s probably our favorite one to look under the scope. The magnification can go up to high enough to see bacterias moving too. That level is a bit more tricky though, so I recommend starting with waterbear. You can see them in 100x. The microscope came with a 7” LCD which made it easy to share the view. It made it much easier to explain how to focus and what we are seeing to my daughter since I can just point at it. I also showed her the effect of each knob so she can better tune it to focus the lens. The assembly took us about 30 minutes. We could’ve done it quicker but I wanted to assemble it with her so she can understand each components. The microscope came in a pretty heavy duty case with a lock. It’s definitely a step up compare to beginner microscope kits out there. Overall I’m happy with the performance. I highly recommend checking out water bears with this scope.

I purchased this for a science unit for my third grade class. Right out of the case parts were loose. It was functional but very very wobbly which made staying focused to show the kids on the screen a head ache. I tried to exchange it after our unit study but was not allowed. I really just wanted a working model to keep in my class. Very disappointed.: Update The company reached out to me and sent me a full replacement. I am very happy with this company and their product. They cared enough to go the extra mile.

I recently purchased the Vabiooth Research Grade Trinocular Microscope and I am very impressed with its performance. The magnification is excellent and the image quality is crystal clear. The microscope is well-constructed and feels sturdy in the hand. The included accessories are also of high quality. One thing that stood out to me was the beautiful packaging. It arrived in a well-padded box, and the microscope itself was securely packaged inside a foam-lined case. This attention to detail gave me confidence that the product would be of high quality, and I was not disappointed.
