  • These fly traps are PHENOMENAL
I have property in Northern Michigan, and my entire 43 years up there we have ALWAYS had biting flies in the summer. They are relentless - they will chase me around, nothing seemed to work.. as a last resort I tried these fly bag traps and WOW. I have been putting them out early summer (May) and have to change them out 2 times after that (usually early July, then in late August) because they fill up completely. I mean to the TOP. I am on my third summer using these and this is the first summer we have noticed a significant decrease in flies, I believe we have made a big dent in the biting fly population in our area. I HAVE NO REGERTS. lol Also, these do stink very very badly. The idea is to draw flies AWAY, so be sure to hang these AWAY from your house or any open window you may have. When these are full, I get a nice big fire going in the firepit (remember we are in remote northern Michigan, no neighbors for miles), and burn them. I cannot imagine having to throw these away in my garbage can! When full, they are pretty disgusting. But worth EVERY penny. They work and they work great. Buy extras, you wont regret it. ... show more

  • So disgusting!!!
This product spells AWFUL! This product is FABULOUS! Our home in the country was overtaken with flies this summer! We hung 3 of these in the trees and within a day we noticed a huge difference! The product really does smell bad - but it works great! If you place the bags far enough away from the house - you won’t notice the smell. Easy to hang, kills bugs effectively and a great value! ... show more

  • Aside from the odor they work really well.
The flies this year were out of control and no matter what we did we couldn't keep them out of the house. After having this up for a day or two they stayed out of the house and got trapped in this thing instead. Soooo many flies in there in just a couple weeks. They do smell pretty bad, but it's better than having swarms of flies in my kitchen when I'm cooking so I will definitely forgive that. Great product. ... show more

  • Worked great
Used these around a hobby farm with 6 head of cattle and a horse during the summer of 2023 and noticed a huge reduction in flies from previous years. Had been using fly predators previously and also with these fly traps. This year (2024) I will try these fly traps without the fly predators and if I remember I will update this review with the results. ... show more

  • Caught a gazzilion flies, but they kept coming!
We seem to always have about 5 or 6 flies swirling around, so I bought this and placed it on a tree 20 ft away. I was STUNNED by how quickly it worked. Within a couple hours, hundreds of flies were caught. Days later, thousand of flies were in it. So gross, but so satisfying. Nonetheless, we still had the same number of flies swirling around. After a couple weeks, the awful smell was too much for me. There was about 2 inches deep of packed in dead flies, yet no impact on the living flies around. Maybe if we put more traps out, but our property is small and the smell is intense. ... show more

  • Expensive but the best!
These work amazing, 'HAD' a huge fly problem this year which concerned Me because we were having our wedding in our back yard. Bought 1 of these to test it was completely full in under 2 weeks. (Also tested 2 other brands at the same time had a few flies in them but not even close to these). Product proven, Bought the multipack and strategically placed them around the property 2 weeks before the wedding.. after 2 months of summer with horrible flies everywhere no matter what you did, in 2 days.... NO FLIES!! Awesome... left them up until the day before the wedding and pulled them down (wasn't leaving them up they smell like death in a toxic sewer) all of them fairly full of flies... wedding went perfectly not a fly in sight. Be very careful these stink horribly and if it downpours and you have one under a gutter it may fill to the brim with water, which may make it easy to spill the horrific smelling substance on your arm when removing, and your fiance may not come near you for a couple days no matter how much you scrub lol. ... show more

  • Works GREAT but be prepared for the smell
This is a great fly trap! It caught a TON of flies but the smell is horrible from the dead flies in it. Be sure to hang it in a place that you don’t regularly hang out in and keep it downwind. I wish it actually closed when you’re ready to dispose but not a deal breaker

  • Stinks but works!
I’ve always avoided these traps but we had a bad summer with flies this year. These work amazingly! Takes literal seconds for the flies to take to them. It smells like animal decomp- which is awful, but damn do they work! I keep one in the corner by my trash cans and replace weekly.
