I use these for my ball python's tank. You want to have two hygrometers, for both your cold and hot side. I have seen a lot of products that promote suction cups to hang them, digital hygrometers with probes (not a bad idea if you want to plug it in, but with already having a lot of wires around my tank it just doesn't seem like a great idea), or having them hang with a sticker. These hygrometers come with a sticker that you can place on the back of the tank. Unfortunately, for ball python enclosures/tanks, you want it to be on the floor of the tank to get optimal data for humidity and heat. However, basking temp is different higher up. Overall, these hygrometers are great but the edges are very sharp and my snake's scales have been damaged from this. If you buy this product, I'd suggest sanding them down or finding a rounder hygrometer. I just didn't want anything too large.

I bought a two pack and put one in my snail terrarium and one in my plant cabinet. My snail needs to be kept moist and I run a dehumidifier for my cactuses in their cabinet. These have been really helpful. If you use them in a terrarium and accidentally mist them when spraying the tank, it will read 100% humidity until it dries so it won't be accurate in that instance. However when it dries it will work normally so you don't have to worry about replacing it if you accidentally get it wet.
