I already had a humidity gauge in my crested gecko tank, but I wanted a duel temp/humidity gauge. I read a lot of reviews where people complain about the accuracy of the humidity part of gauges like this. When compared to my current gauge, the humidity on one of these was the same. The other showed 1% different, no big deal. The only negative is that the temp reading is very small and hard to read. Works good though. ... show more

These thermometers seem to be working properly for our lizard tank. Cheap and easy with supplied glue dot.. which seems to be ridiculously strong, these appx 1.5" thermometers are quite easy to read vs. some of the other products on the market. It is quite nice having two so that you're able to monitor separate zones in the tank as we have a rather large tank for a single leopard gecko. I haven't quite figured out if there is some kind of way to remove the face of the thermometer so that you are able to change the battery without removing the glue dot... which may break the device... but if I figure that out I will be sure to update the review (this is why it lost a star). If you need a simple, easy solution to monitor temperature and humidity in an area, I do recommend this... if you are monitoring for extremely vital information, products, items, etc... you may want to look into something a little more robust to give better piece of mind. ... show more

I use these in my 3d filament boxes to keep track of humidity. There’s even a spool hub insert that you can print that these pop into. Nice little displays. Only negative is the off-angle viewing. From about 45° above and below, the digits tend to get hard to read. Not unexpected for LCD, it’s just worth mentioning. ... show more

Within 24 hrs I needed to move it to a different part of the enclosure. I used the adhesives that came with them. I tried to pull it off the wall, and the front half came off, leaving the other half stuck. I pried the rest off, and tried to put it back together to get it to work. After numerous tries, and the two snaps breaking off, I gave up. There is no easy way to remove them from the wall, and you will need too eventually to replace the battery. ... show more

This, "2 PCS Reptile Thermometer and Humidity Gauge" seems to work great. I have checked the accuracy using an old fashion hygrometer and it is within one percent. The temperature seems to be spot on. I don't have any pet reptiles however I use these to monitor the humidity where documents are stored.
