Works as described with a reasonable tolerance on temperature (+/-2 or 4). Fairly accurate. The programming SEEMS more complicated than it is, but the instructions help that along. Just set the real time, t1 - daytime and corresponding temp, t2 - night time and corresponding temp. Easy. The screen is also well lit and easy to read (my living room has bad lighting). VERY good buy for the price point. Would recommend easily.

While the item is working fairly well, the instruction guide is NOT well written. Nor are the programming instructions very intuitive. We did manage to get it programmed, but it was a less than user friendly process.

Allows me to set daytime and night time temps. Controls my heat emitters perfectly. Im ordering more. Controls are simple to operate and I really love that the LCD screen lights up at night when you press buttons

I really like mine! I started with one and I’ve now bought 3 for my reptiles. The used interface took me a little messing around with to figure out but personally it was pretty easy to learn. These are great for the price.

Never again. This is not user friendly. The instructions are horrible. Returning it and getting a different one

Overall this seems to function OK, with three glaring issues. One: The temp range bottoms out at 68 degrees. I don't want this thing turning on at night, which is why I got one with a separate day/night cycle. But it won't go low enough that I don't trust a heat lamp won't turn on at 2am. Which brings me to... Two: You can't set the night cycle to simply be "off". You must set a temperature for it. If there's a way to do it, it's not covered in the instructions. So I bought a timer to plug into it so I could simply shut the thermostat off at night. Which caused... Three: The whole thing resets when power is lost. So you can't just have a timer that shuts it off, because you have to re-do all of your settings. So if you have a brief power interruption, everything resets. So there's no way to prevent this from turning on bulbs at night if you want to. That doesn't work for me, so this will have to go back.
