I really like this thermometer. Previous purchases never seemed to stay put, and they were really hard to read. I have only had to re-attach this one once, when my bearded dragon baby tried to climb on it. It is a great way to make sure the tank stays at a constant temperature.

I have one for each size of my gecko habitat. Love how they are clear and don’t distract from the natural decorations in the enclosure. They seem to be accurate when compared to the heat gun. They look fantastic and love how you can chose which way they face easily. They have not fallen off (have been up a few weeks)and seem durable. Shipped really fast. I like the look of it, only came with one battery advertised with two but the seller did respond to my issue and was kind enough to mail me two exrta batteries as promised. I would highly recommend this item as it works great in my hermit crab tank.

    • Useless / Dangerous
Whoever designed this did a poor job. Considering this is the upgraded version makes it even worse. First, the suction cup is incredibly weak and does not stay on the glass. This is especially true when using the side mounts as the thermometer sags significantly (about 45 degrees or more) - which while developing this, it should have been unacceptable. Luckily, I tested it prior to putting my little jumping spider in the enclosure as it eventually fell off no matter the orientation. This could have crushed my pet. Be warned. Dangers aside, the display itself is also not the most legible unless there is a bright light directly behind it. While I have a Repti Zoo terrarium and love it, this missed the mark entirely. Delivery was timely. Product design is super convenient. It's so much easier to see the readings. Very sturdy. Our crested gecko has climbed all over it many times. The suction stays secure. Would buy again.

Ordered a new fogger for my chameleons and there was an offer to add this item for free. Thought, hey that's cool, be great in my jumping spider setup. Supposed to come with batteries but mine were missing.... ordered an assorted pack that is still half the price of this new and can replace all my watch batteries anyways so works out. ... show more
