My leopard gecko loves his place! It’s very sturdy and the fact that it has double doors mean I can open one to feed and both to clean. The size is perfect for my adolescent gecko. Easy to clean, except the corners sometimes. My one door is also not hanging the same as the other but it doesn’t affect the cage. It was also really easy to assemble. I looked for a long time and did so much research; this was the terrarium that I decided on after getting one at the store that was sub-par. I spent about the same amount of money on this one too, and this one is so much better quality and larger! The front opening makes it way easier to take her in and out and clean it, my kids have an easier time handling her as well. :-) Very sturdy, easy to build, and plenty spacious for our leopard gecko and lots of things for her to crawl on. ... show more

This cage is the perfect size for what I was looking for but I hate the front opening lock system. Reptizoo isn't the only one that uses it so they aren't the only ones getting minus a star for my complaint. The front opening door is the main reason for my purchase and is basically the most used part of all these tanks. I hate the lock thing because I keep dropping the key, or it falls out of the lock, or is put somewhere I can't remember or is basically a nuisance in general. I could go on but it would be a rant on the system in general which like I said, multiple companies use. Great job on the cage Reptizoo, crappy choice of lock system. Disclaimer: I did know what kind it had before purchase. This was the only tank with the dimensions that fit my needs. ... show more

I have two leopard geckos (Teddy & Lunar) they're very active boys and loves climbing and hunting. It's important for them to have a good amount of space. But It's important for me to have easy access to them. I am 5'4 and I have my boys on a shelf. I've tried shorter shelves then my dog gets too nosy and bothers them. So I have them higher up so they enjoy a peaceful life. The front opening doors are a life saver and make jt wasy to get them in and out, feed them, change their water, change their humid hide substrate so on. It's worth the money! The doors are sturdy and the frame seems to hold well, the doors are functional and not hard to keep closed. My geckoes cannot break free or climb out so I am satisfied with the safety. It does also hsve holes to run wires inside (I have a humidity gague inside the tank) they give you two keys per tank for the doors as well which I think was a great idea. I store one in a drawer for safe keeping and the other lives beside the terrariums. ... show more

I got this tank for my retired class pet, Tango the leopard gecko. I'd been working with a cheap 20 gallon tank I bought from petco back when I first acquired him. It was fine but it was a top load tank and had no built-in access for wires or gauges. Which makes this new set up a perfect replacement! I can spread out his enrichment and hides, really give him those separate hot and cold zones, and I don't have to cut holes in the mesh top to ensure my temperature gauge can sit unobtrusively inside! It was fairly easy to put together once I had my roommate help me figure out what I was doing wrong with the glass but once we got that settled it all went together pretty easily. All in all this was a great upgrade, particularly as I moved this enclosure up high so I can access it from the front but the cats can't jump on top of it the way they could my old set up. Seriously, a great improvement all around. ... show more

    • Snake got out and lost within 3 days!
Great tank, but not for small snakes. I bought this tank because of the lock and key feature,but I didn't realize that the two back corner rods are not full height from top to bottom. They have a small open gap and are able to slide up and down a bit. This left just enough space for my small snake to get out. He lasted 3 days in the tank, and now gone forever in my house. I fixed the problem with a little clear silicone in each back corner, and had to buy a new snake. Another thing I worry about this tank is the screen top flexes in the middle because the 4 spring Clamps are spread far apart. If you have an adult snake, it most likely could push the screen top up and get out. Luckily I keep my tank in between two shelves, so I was about to cut two blocks of wood to wedge in between the top shelf and the screen top so it cannot be pushed open from the inside. ... show more
