Switch works great. The switch itself was the exact same size as the one removed. I just pooped it out of the new housing and put in into the original housing so it still looks original.

I can't believe I had to look so long to find a simple momentary ON-OFF-ON switch like this one. I'd bought others only to find out they were internally jumpered and useless for my purpose. This works perfectly for what I wanted to do with it which was to control my awning and not have any power running to it when it was in the off position. I ran into problems with my Colorado Carefree awning not wanting to retract as I was preparing to leave the campground. I found it had places on the awning arm near the motor to connect jumpers directly to the awning motor but when I tried to do that, I could only get it to roll out farther. When I reversed the jumpers to bring it in, it blew the fuse. I had to take the cover off the motor housing and disconnect the wires to the switch before I could jumper the motor and get it to turn in the right direction. Every switch Carefree had was internally jumpered so that even in the off position there was a connection to the motor making it impossible to use the jumper posts they provided. Using this switch, the jumper posts can run the motor either way because off means nothing connects to the motor from the switch. ... show more

This was a direct replacement for my Solara awning in my Keystone travel trailer. Direct wire connection like old switch. I had to fabricate a backing plate to cover existing screw holes.

Cheap switch. Is not universal for every solera awning and does NOT include wire harness. Waste of money!!!!

    • Good quality and very good price.
The quality is very good. The price is much cheaper than other switches. This is a double pole double throw switch that should be able to work on a number of awnings if you understand how to hook it up.
