Description

This durable leak proof replacement pan. The durable replacement pan is made with a flexible polypropylene plastic mixture which is odor resistant, easy to clean and stronger than other replacement pans that are made of ABS plastic. Additionally, our replacement pans are injection molded during the manufacturing process making them more flexible / durable than competitors who vacuum seal their pans during the manufacturing process. These pans are designed to easily slide in and out of the dog crate for easy cleaning in the event an accident occurs. Although these are made as replacement pans for our dog crates, many customers also use them as a multi-purpose tray as well. Our replacement pans have been used as a multi-purpose tray to hold wet or muddy shoes / boots, as a tray to place your pet's food / water bowl on, a tray to place your cat litter box on to help contain a potential mess, a portable puzzle piece holder, paint, gardening, cargo liner and etc. MidWest Homes for Pets stands behind the quality of our products with a 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty. Alas! An easier way to clean the bird cage! Primarily, we wanted something to catch the liquid that he regurgitates. This messy habit was ruining the metal floor of his cage. However, there are many considerations when dealing with a curious bird. You can’t just put anything absorbent down there, or he’ll pull it up and shred it. Hmm? There’s got to be some sort of shallow liner that could sit in the metal cage tray and catch whatever. Google is our friend. We found this tray and it was exactly what we were thinking of. Plastic won't absorb or rust; the shallow edges will contain liquid; the whole bird cage mess is easy to lift up and dump; plus, normal bird cage messes that always had to be scraped off the metal can just be washed off the plastic. Really the biggest decision was size. A large tray would have covered almost the entire metal tray, but that’s too big. The small tray would have covered just his favorite regurgitation corner, but what if he suddenly decided to expand the zone? So we ultimately picked a medium sized tray and it’s been great. He can’t lift it up through the cage bottom like he did paper and cardboard. The pan just sits in the lower tray and catches stuff like it’s supposed to. In the end, it’s still being used as a pet pan, just not in a four-legged way. We wanted to share this unconventional use as an idea for other bird families. ... show more

This tray was ordered for a bird cage. The product dimensions are listed as 29.62 inches L x 20.88 inches wide. The tray measures lip-to-lip, where the lip is the edge of the tray closest to the side of the cage, 20.5 inches wide by 29.25 inches long. The tray is sturdy and washable. The black color shows every bit of bird debris and gray might be a better color. It has been very difficult to find flight cage replacement trays/pans, but this one seems to be very good for my Pre-Vue Hendryx flight cage. ... show more

great like new pan from A warehouse at half the cost and it is exactly like the one that comes with our 54” crate. Since exact same pan it means if you have a dog that chews up every bed, carpet and blanket you put in their crate and no longer do so and they sleep on this pan alone, it may get scratched up within months..so it is nice to be able to get a replacement like this. ... show more

I live in an area where the weather gets really bad sometimes and I have this in my home in a convenient location with the artificial grass has just worked perfect. My dog is small only 6 pounds but but they still need room to like turn around until they find the spot they like it’s perfect and a really good price. I ordered this crate pan to replace the one that my dogs destroyed when they were puppies. I was very impressed with the quality when it arrived. It appears to be much more rugged than the pan that came with the crate. I had been using the crate without the pan, just giving them blankies, but they finally stopped destroying everything so I decided it was time for a new pan. We are using this under a 38" x 23" chest freezer, it does the job. The plastic is different than in years past; the surface texture has changed to something that seems less conducive to preventing slipping and the plastic seems thinner, hence only four stars. After going through lots of ideas of how to protect my chickens nesting boxes from them making a mess on the top of them, this was the solution! My chickens are wierd and like to sleep there instead of their actual perches. This makes clean up a breeze! I purchased this item to construct a bird reflection pool for photography in my back yard. It is rigid, solid and well constructed. For this purpose, I rate it highly, not so sure about a cage liner for dogs…but, the raccoons seem to like to walk on it at night :) Highly recommend this item.
