My suggestion is to never buy an expensive OEM tool battery again! Fits charger and tools very well and removes easily. Holds charge sitting on my cold garage work bench. Only thing to note is that the Headline says 9.0Ah, it is actually 6.0Ah as noted in the picture. Mine was also a different color too...but who cares! Can't really judge longevity or lifespan, but with my very disappointing experience with the overpriced OEM brands, I'll take this route every time and take my chances at lower price point.

Is not the same size as my 9 amps, is definitely a 6 amp but good price for a flexvolt battery so I live with it.

I like to wait a while before giving reviews on batteries since a lot can happen in a month or so of hard use. But so far with this battery, it has shown no signs of any problems. No odd smells, charges and discharges in the expected time within reason. It has been used in everything from a sander to a mini chainsaw with good results.

I have been using this to charge my little shop light, using it for one month, charged it twice, actually and that was uneventful, no problem. I just charged it a second time because we lost power for a day and a half, so I really needed the light. It a fine battery.

This non-OEM replacement battery snaps right into my DeWalt tools without a fuss. It has the same charge level indicators as the DeWalt ones (press a button and 3 LEDs tell you the battery level). The battery arrived with a full 3 LEDs of charge. I really have no way of accurately validating the 6Ah capacity claim. I can tell you that it's larger and heavier than my 2Ah batteries, but not obnoxiously heavy. As a test, I used it to swap the summer tires on my car to my winter wheels using my little DeWalt 20V impact driver. That means 20 lug nuts were untorqued from a full 130ft lbs, then retorqued (and of course I used a torque wrench at the end to verify everything was to spec). After completing the job, my impact driver was very warm, but the battery was cool and still remained at 3 LEDs of charge! I'm impressed with this unit and plan to use it with my 20V circular saw as a way to really take advantage of the large capacity.

This generic battery properly fits on my DeWALT power tools and charger, and is not getting hot when used. It has the standard power level button, and the battery gives similar run time to my OEM batteries.
