I'm here in the Philippines for a year and am using this umbrella for both rain and sun protection. It's an excellent product - well made, durable and somewhat easy to close. That said it does not take away from giving it a 5 star rating. In my opinion well worth the cost.

I bought this umbrella summer 2025. Seemed nice. I brought it out again in May 2026 and it broke. The push up button started to malfunction. Then the base didn't pull down for length. It didn't work after that. It wouldn't close or snap into place for open. ***** Repel umbrella contacted me by email to offer me a refund or replacement on Tuesday June 9th. I've had these for a couple of weeks. They have held up well so far in a few minor showers. They're not as compact as some other compact umbrellas but feel much sturdier. I've bused a lot of other compact umbrellas and they tend to fall apart after a dozen or so uses but these feel like they will hold up for much longer.
