I ordered the RENPHO Massage Gun with Extension Handle and was very excited to get it. I had spinal fusion surgery approximately 11 months ago and, while I am greatly improved, I still deal with lower back and glute pain and tightness. My physical therapist frequently uses a massage gun during my sessions, but I have long wanted one with an extension handle so I could work on those tight areas between appointments and after I finish physical therapy this month. This massager has the exact features that were important to me. The extension handle is really the standout feature and what makes this model so much more useful for individual use. I absolutely needed something that would allow me to comfortably reach my lower back and glutes without assistance. I also wanted solid power and multiple speed levels since different areas of the body require different levels of intensity. This massager can be used with either a long telescoping straight handle or a curved extension piece. The curved attachment makes it much easier to reach the shoulders, upper back, lower back, and glutes. Speed is controlled by a slider on the handle, with settings ranging from 1000 to 3000 RPM. I generally prefer a moderate speed for my back and glutes, but I find the lower settings helpful for my feet and other more sensitive areas. The massager charges with the included USB cable. Mine arrived fully charged, so I have not needed to recharge it yet. According to the listing, it takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge and should provide approximately a week of use per charge. The massager comes with four attachments, although I find myself using the ball attachment most of the time. Performance has been excellent. It delivers a strong, effective percussive massage and has been very helpful in relieving muscle tightness. The instructions could be improved somewhat. I was not immediately sure how to switch from the long handle to the curved extension, but I eventually figured out that it pulls down rather than twisting off. The massager is also quite portable. It comes with a nice storage bag, and I plan to bring it with me on a road trip this weekend. I expect it will be very helpful after long hours of driving. Overall, this has been an excellent massage gun. The good power, adjustable speeds, portability, and included attachments are all very good, but the extension handle is what makes this superior to other massager options. Being able to comfortably reach difficult areas on my own makes this far more practical and useful for me. I highly recommend this massager.

I’ve always heard people rave about massage guns, but until using this one, I honestly didn’t understand. After a few weeks with it, I can say this is one of those products that has immediately earned my trust and a permanent place in my shelf. It has a detachable design and extension handle that help you reach areas that are normally difficult to access by yourself, especially the middle and lower back, it truly makes a huge difference. The telescoping handle extends far enough that I don’t find myself contorting into a Cirque du Soleil dancing positions trying to hit that sore spot. With a 10mm amplitude and multiple speed settings, it delivers enough force to get through stubborn muscle tension. I like to use it mostly on my shoulders, neck, and upper back, where years of physical wear and tear have left me with persistent soreness. Now, it has loosen muscles that are often tight and uncomfortable and quite frankly just so hard to deal with without asking someone else for assistance. It’s very ergonomic which I think is also the reason why it works so well with the shape, the length and the material. It weighs over a pound, it is light enough to use for a while if you need a few extra minutes each time. Battery life has been excellent so far. I haven’t found myself constantly reaching for the charger which is great, and it alap includes a carrying case to store or travel with. I spent years assuming massage guns were another fitness trend, but after experiencing the relief firsthand, I understand why so many people swear by them. For anyone dealing with muscle tightness this is one of the most impactful recovery tools that pays for itself. I ordered this massage gun because I already own another percussion massager that works well, but I constantly run into the same problem: reaching certain areas of my back by myself. The extension arm on this RENPHO model was the main reason I wanted to try it, and it ended up being the feature that makes it stand out from the others I own. The detachable extension handle makes it much easier for me to reach my lower back, between my shoulder blades, and other awkward spots that are difficult to target with a standard massage gun. Instead of twisting into strange positions or needing someone else to help, I can actually get the massage head where I want it. The handle extends quite a bit and provides enough leverage to make self-massage much more practical. The massage performance itself is solid. It delivers a strong percussion massage with multiple speed settings, and I found it effective for sore muscles after workouts as well as general stiffness from sitting at a desk. The 10mm amplitude provides a deeper massage than some of the smaller travel-focused massage guns I have tried. I also like that the handle can be removed when I do not need the extra reach. In its compact configuration it feels more like a traditional massage gun and is easier to use on my legs, arms, and calves. The included storage bag is a nice addition for keeping everything together. The unit feels reasonably lightweight for its size, and the battery life has been good so far. I have used it for multiple sessions without needing to recharge. In the end, the extension arm is what makes this model different from the many other massage guns on the market. If you already own a standard percussion massager and wish it were easier to use on your own back, this design solves a problem that I have dealt with for years.

I've been very impressed with this massage gun and have used it regularly since getting it. It does a great job helping with sore muscles after workouts and also works well for everyday aches from sitting at a desk for long periods. The standout feature for me is the extension handle. Most massage guns can be difficult to use on your own when trying to reach your back, but the detachable and extendable handle makes it much easier to target those hard to reach areas. It turns what is usually a two person job into something you can comfortably do yourself. The massage strength is also excellent. The 10mm amplitude provides plenty of power for deep tissue relief, and having multiple speed settings makes it easy to adjust the intensity depending on what muscle group you're working on. Whether I wanted a lighter massage or something more aggressive after a workout, it handled both well. I also appreciate how versatile the design is. I’ve now ordered a number of items from RENPHO— another percussive massager, and an eye compression massager/heater. They have all been very good quality, so I was very happy to try this percussive massage gun as a claims to be able to solve one of the biggest problems of how to use one of these massage guns on yourself and your back. The design is a little different than I was expecting with the main unit breaking into three separate parts. The first and third can be combined together for a simple massager to be used on legs chest, wherever you can reach or, you can separate those and put in the curved middle section to easily reach your back. The handle itself houses the battery and also a sliding mechanism so that you can extend it for better reach. I’m torn on that aspect of it as I feel a solid rip would feel better in the hand, but I do appreciate the ingenuity in building such an extension feature. The percussive massager itself works well, though displays and controls are very basic. On all, this was very effective at reaching areas that were very hard or not possible on my own, and I think it is a great product just because of that. Because of the length of the arm, I did notice the massager, jumping up and down on my back more than on other areas where I able to apply a more direct and firm pressure. That it, did not take away from the benefits at all. Definitely recommend!

This thing's a powerhouse. This thing is so strong that you actually have to be a little bit careful about how high you turn it up and where you have it hit. Definitely make sure that you don't have it right on the back your spine or any bones or anything like that. This thing with the handle can reach anywhere on your body it's absolutely fantastic. What I really like about it is however hard you want it to dig in is how hard you just have to pull on the handle. This really solves a lot of the problems of some of the other ones that you have to lean against or strap to your body and they only dig in so deep. If you're a bigger person or you really like deep massages is definitely the one to go with. I also found that the construction was really well done and the design was a well executed. The fact it has a slider for the different vibration levels gives you this nice tactical feedback and makes it easier to control. I think the cost is just fine for the high quality of the item and the excellent job that it does.
