The jump rope is very well crafted with high quality materials, it is very easy to set up with the phone app, and I was up and running in a few minutes. Having the digital handle keep track of jumps is a fantastic function, so I can focus on jumping rather than counting. The app is easy to use and syncs up perfectly with the rope every single time. The only concern I have is the battery life for the digital handle, which uses two AAA batteries. At this point I've gone through a second set of batteries, but only use it for 15-20 minutes per session, 3-4 times a week, then back in its storage bag, not sure why the battery use is so high. This is my only gripe. Not sure if the unit goes to sleep after a few minutes of non-use. I'll have to start removing the batteries after each use to avoid draining them unnecessarily; frankly it is a bit of a hassle, but a work-around.

Recently it was my sisters birthday and she had this Renpho jump rope in her Amazon wish list. I decided to buy her this one and one for myself which was the older version with the rope. Both her and her boyfriend enjoy working out together and they both tried it and loved it. What they and I loved about this product is that this specific version comes also with the rope. So you can use it as a regular jump rope or with the cordless option which are those two small ropes with the weighted balls at the end of the ropes. If I would have paid more attention to the details and saw I this one included the rope I would have gotten this one for myself too. I still love the one I got though so we’re happy with both versions.
