  • They are working well
Size: 200W ShadowFlux N-Type Panel
This review I based on balcony use only. I purchased two 200 W Renogy shadow flux for my EcoFlow delta pro 3, the reason I purchased them was thinking they would help since I live on a second floor, and they would placed on my balcony floor. Two Renogy 200 w because I thought they would help with shadows and trees and building in the morning I have direct sun light however I have a roof over my balcony and a two story building. Unless they are in direct sunlight they won’t do much I have only seen 7 W ,12 W, and up to 32W when both panels are connected to the high voltage port. However when I have two 110 W portable EcoFlow total 220 W connected to the low voltage port hanging from the balcony rail and the two Renogy connected. I have seen up 303 W coming in. I just ordered rail mounts let’s see how they work. But if you’re thinking that the videos that people are posting on YouTube are truly true that depends on many factors. I have not seen anyone do a video with these panels on a balcony. Updated review. 9/14/2025 I have now installed them on a balcony rail with more direct light hitting two 200 W in the morning getting about 340 W with good sunlight. I have two 200 w connected to the high voltage port and one 110 Ecolflow connected to the low voltage port of the Ecoflow Delta Pro 3. ... show more

  • Solid construction, great power, good looks
Size: 200W ShadowFlux N-Type Panel
Solid! Smaller and lighter and more powerful than prior solar panels. Work well when partially shaded. I haven’t been able to generate all 200W from my single panel yet, but even 160-180W at full sun is great for me. I installed one panel on the top of my Four Wheel truck camper with 1 1/2” aluminum angle brackets to the Yakima roof tracks. With the right hardware, mounting went well. I had tight clearance to the solar plug on the roof, so needed a right angle adapter to fit the panel and the wires. The panel seems durable enough to withstand vibration and wind, but time will tell. I like the black border and style of the panel. ... show more

  • Works great
Size: 200W ShadowFlux N-Type Panel
Very nice unit, placed on top of my utility trailer and runs the ice box continuously with no problem. Controller and battery backup is necessary. Has 36 volt output, the Controller brings it down 12 volts and with some magic puts out 10 plus amps at hi noon

  • 3 Panels and Going Srong
I have 3 panels that I've been powering my camper the past 4 months living full time and couldn't be happier. I've traveled over 4,000 miles through out the western states, AZ, NV, UT, WY, running the panels portable and they've handled the rough conditions exceptionally well. My only complaint was the first panel I ordered had razor sharp edges at the corners, so the fit and finish wasn't the best with this panel. Couple razor cuts to my fingers and arms when handling the panels brought out the file and a quick deburring took care of the sharp edges. The next 2 panels I ordered were excellent with no sharp edges. With the 3rd panel I ordered I upgraded to the digital controller and very happy I did. For $20 more you get digital read out and much better visual control of your panels. Call and talk to Renogy they will do the upgrade with just a phone call. As far as performance I'm getting on average 5 amps from each panel. 100 watts is something dreamed up in a lab in perfect conditions, so don't expect you'll get that. Best I see is 6.2 amps when I'm at 7,000 ft. or higher. That's from about 11pm-1pm then it slowly drops off to about 5 amps for the next 3-4 hours. I run a pair of panels into the digital controller to a pair of 6 volt golf cart batteries that I got at Costco. The other panel powers my built in deep cycle coach battery off the basic 30 amp controller with the first kit I bought. I bought an extra set of branch connectors, so I can hook all 3 together and get about 15-16 amps of charge. The panels are very sensitive to light, so even a leaf or grass in the way will shut the panel down or any shading from far away branches. If one cell is shaded the output will drop drastically. Even some thin clouds moving by makes the output fluctuate up and down. Keeping the panels clean is important too. I see about a .5 amp improvement in output per panel after I clean them off. I'm able to move the panels around with the 25 ft. extension lines I have, so it's not hard to get the full use of the sun almost every day when I'm camped. I've powered my camper almost exclusively with my 3 panels and that's not scrimping on the lights or power. I have a 1500 watt pure sine inverter, 24 inch LED TV, several power strips going 24/7 charging all my electronic gadgets, CD player and radio going all day, and the past 3 months a portable freezer that runs 24/7. If I get at least 6 hours of sun per day I'm fully charged. I've only had to run my generator about 30 hours the past 4 months and that's just on the days when I'm traveling and not able to get any charging for the day. I'm not too impressed with the low light output on cloudy days. I"m lucky to get 1amp per panel at best. Most often less. Fortunately I've had about 90% sunny days on this trip so far, so I've really done well weather wise. Only 2 days of snow and 3 days of rain, so I can't report on how well the panels hold up in poor weather. I did shatter the glass in a wind storm at Lake Powell when a gust of wind ripped the panel out of my hands when I was trying to put them away. I still get about 2.5 amps out of the broken panel. The glass is laminated to the cells with a membrane, so they are pretty tough and the glass for the most part stayed intact. I have a roll of clear packing tape I'm going to cover the broken glass to waterproof the panel and keep it from shorting out. I'll probably retire that panel to something more permanent then I don't have to be so careful with it. Over all I'd give my first long term foray into solar a 4 star. 3 panels can easily provide all my power needs as long as I'm some where it's sunny on a regular basis. Knock one star off for the first panel with the sharp edges, dent in the frame from shipping, and Renogy screwed up my order for the branch connectors. Sent a double order and double charged me, so one star knocked off for Renogy. All in all I'm very pleased with my panels and plan on buying several more. ... show more
