I had to build a custom exhaust ducting for a range hood to fit into some odd spacing. This involved attaching several pieces together. I used this sealant for the transitions and to fill in any transition gaps inside to try to reduce noise as the air from the range hood went through the duct. It is really strong stuff. A couple words of caution 1) do this outside. It really does smell strong 2) wear rubber gloves and long sleeves.
