This is a heavy metal stand that holds my 10 ft kayaks well. I would have given it a 5 but when I received the stand one of the base legs was bent which required me to beat it straight with a hammer. This damage was probably done in transit because the package was pretty beat up. The shipper sent it via US Mail and they don’t do a very good job handling heavy shipments. A great stand that works great!

We ordered 2 for the basement. I was able to easily assemble them with no help. We used one for kayaks and the other one to store extra lumber and siding. They were easily to move and to load the kayaks on. They are sturdy. We had planned on building a rack out of wood but decided to give these a try. I am glad we got these racks instead.

The rack itself works and is well balanced. Unfortunately, you can't install the paddle hangers per the Assembly instructions because the bolts are 1/4 inch too short. (See pictures). In fact, none of the bolts in the assembly have any threads protruding past the nut. I'll need to buy new bolts to make it work.

This rack is an exact fit for my two 10-foot kayaks. The cockpit width just matches the spacing between the support arms. There is even room for the kiddie kayak on the bottom. I'll be moving everything into a shed, but the photo shows my fit test. I would give 5 stars except that the included paddle holders cannot be attached to the back of the uprights, as shown in the assembly instructions, with the bolts that are included in the package - the bolts are just exactly right to attach the support arms, but are too short to also go through the paddle holder brackets. I emailed the [email protected] 7 days ago about this, but no response. Since I'll move this rack to my shed, this isn't a show stopper for me. I still really like how the kayaks fit.
