    • It works. But the compressor has a 85db rattle
I love Toshiba and the idea of having a dedicated AC. But even my white noise loving self could not handle the compressor noise at 85db 10 feet away! It was hard to talk let alone even try to sleep. It does cool. The window kit is good. But I can’t tolerate the compressor rattle. When it is only in fan mode it’s very soothing but my dog even starts barking when the compressor kicks on. ... show more

So far for the cooling aspect of this unit it’s great but it was missing a lot of parts so the window I put it on is a tall narrow window and it came with only 2 long adapters to fit windows but in the instructions it shows a small one that I need for my window which it did not come with so I have the window sitting on the one with the vent and one of the long ones Shoved in there between my window frame and the vent hole and I had to use two pieces of wood to hold it in place securely it also says it comes with insulation foam to put around the open cracks which again it did not come with so I’m going to have to find something to use kinda disappointed about the window situation but like I said previously the unit itself is great so far ... show more

I absolutely love this item, it’s so quiet, works amazingly. Took almost no time to set up. I am very happy with the quality. I did notice straight out of the box that it was missing the top filter. It is a two filter air conditioner. And the top one is missing, so will need to find one.

I got this for my apartment bedroom since I’m on the top floor. It came early and has a cool vent feature I’ve never seen before. It took about 3-5 minutes to set up it’s not hard. My unit isn’t noisy and I'm glad I can finally get some sleep without sweating and the remote will come in handy. Nice find for the price. ... show more
