I flew syma when I was a kid and loved them the stability in these toys has come a long way when I was a kid these things no matter the brand never flew straight or stayed up in flight now they got it down, Great toy easy to fly easy to understand no complications it’s durable and tons of fun now my son loves flying it battery has 5-10 minutes of flight time, go with the two battery option don’t buy built in battery. You won’t be disappointed more time for more fun.

I recently purchased the S107H-E RC Helicopter for my child (and a little fun for myself!), and I have to say, it’s an excellent choice for beginners. The helicopter is very easy to control, thanks to its gyro stabilizer, which helps keep it steady in the air. It’s a great introduction to the world of remote-controlled helicopters for anyone new to the hobby. One of the standout features is the altitude hold function. It makes flying so much easier by automatically keeping the helicopter at a consistent height, so you can focus on flying without constantly adjusting the throttle. The gyro stabilizer really makes a difference. Even when you’re learning, the helicopter stays fairly stable, which helps boost confidence for beginners. The build quality is pretty solid, and it can handle a few crashes without significant damage. Great for kids who are still mastering their flying skills! I purchased this helicopter for my eight year old grandson for Christmas. Of course, I tested it! Lol. Let me first say that in all the years I had children living at home, my husband got to “test” all the remote products purchased in our household. So, just to spell it out, I have ZERO experience with any remote not a TV remote. Out of the box, you will need 4 AA batteries and to charge the helicopter for 1 hour (at least). After that you are on your way. I will also add that I didn’t feel like the directions was specific enough — they should have said to turn on the helicopter and then to connect the helicopter and the controller simply move the left controller up and then down. This connects them together. It took me two minutes to figure this out though so no biggy. Now on to actually flying the helicopter. It has an amazing one button start up that will simply lift the helicopter off the ground for you. After that you can move the joysticks and control it any way you want. And also, that one button that can lift it in the air can also set it straight down. I LOVED IT! I will admit with no experience whatsoever, it took me about 4 times before I could successfully fly the helicopter without crashing. But the positive side is that I can tell you I ran that helicopter smack dab into my oven top, my microwave, the front of my refrigerator and straight down to the floor FULL SPEED. And the darn thing never broke. LMBO. I can’t believe it. I have had to send off for part for “Christmas gifts” my husband broke within 5 minutes. This helicopter took a licking and kept ticking. I will add that the downside is that this helicopter lasts less than 10 minutes before it needs to be charged for an hour so you can fly it again. But that isn’t a big deal for my eight year old. He has a short attention span anyway so it works perfectly for him. The other thing I will mention that I really liked is the instruction manual had a list of all the parts, so when something does break, you know what part number to order and where to order it from. Definitely a company I’m going to look at more of their toys simply because of this. Life is too short to be searching the internet for the name and part number of something you need just one (1) of. Another thing I read in the manual was that you could purchase two (2) helicopters and fly them at the same time (so if you have two kids your fine with no channel overlap) or if your are one (1) teenage boy that likes to impress your friends you can simply fly TWO (2) helicopters at the same time with one (1) remote!

One thing that really surprised me was how well it holds its altitude. You can get it to a certain height and it just stays there, no constant throttle adjusting needed. That made flying it way easier, especially for a beginner like me (and my kid, of course). The controls are super straightforward—forward, backward, side to side, and a bit of rotation. Nothing too fancy, but enough to make it feel like you’re really piloting something. It’s simple enough for kids to get the hang of quickly, but still fun for adults messing around indoors. Durability-wise, it’s holding up great. It’s already survived a few hard landings and unexpected wall collisions, and it’s still going strong. That’s a big deal if little hands are going to be flying it. I picked it up mainly as a gift for my child, but let’s be honest—I wanted to fly it too. And honestly, it’s been a lot of fun. For something on the affordable side, it’s surprisingly solid. The built-in stabilizer keeps it from feeling chaotic in the air, which really helps when you’re learning. Size-wise, it’s perfect for flying indoors, but it doesn’t feel weak or flimsy. It’s got just enough power to keep things interesting.
