I had been watching this bed for a good price drop and I finally got it. This beautiful bed has really made a difference to my room. It is elegant and sturdy. Took me and my daughter about 2 to 3 hours to assemble. Pieces are not labeled you need to look at the manual to select the pieces you will need at each step. When your connecting the top part of the bed you need to slightly pull it back to make it fall into place. The media could not be loaded. So I had to order twice because first order was lost! So it did take about a month to finally get my bed but it was well worth it! I’m a 29 year old women and I built it all by myself it did take all day but the instructions are really easy was just taking my time so everything came out sturdy! Firstly I am SO DISAPPOINTED with this purchase.. Do NOT I repeat DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The bed looks nice when assembled but the materials are CHEAPER THAN MR.KRABS! The pressed wood slats do NOT stay in the flimsy rubber slots. I weigh WELL UNDER 750 FRIGGIN POUNDS and my MATTRESS FALLS CONSTANTLY due to slat slipping. The SLATS ARE TOO SHORT for the halfwidth of the bed. The frame midbar and legs are thin HOLLOW METAL. Do not install on Wood floor! (Lesson Learned!) This deal seems too good to be true because it is. This bed is not worth the purchase bc honestly for what I paid I could've brought an entire bedroom set... and sadly at this point I still have to. Meridian Porter Canopy Bed in Gray, King Ordered August 2020. The bed looks really nice. I paid extra to have it delivered to the third floor of my townhouse. It is HUGE. Delivery guy was really nice. It took me about 4.5 hours to put it together by myself. Once I finished I noticed there was rust at most of the joints of the chrome canopy. At this point, taking it apart to return is too daunting a task. I still might do that. My advice is to REALLY inspect each piece before putting it together. Smh. Other than the issue with rust, it seems very sturdy, solid. ... show more

The instructions were printed crooked so some weren’t legible. I managed to figure it out and put it together by myself in under 2 hours with distractions. Very nice bed, but as you can see from the pictures the stitching could have been better. I almost refused shipment because I thought the bed was damaged. But it was in 3 places on both sides of the headboard. ... show more

5 star bed, 0 star delivery. After initially waiting 2 weeks for delivery, my husband and I slept on a mattress on our bedroom floor for almost 2 additional weeks because the bed did not come as promised even tho it said "out for delivery". CEVA delivery service is absolutely terrible. I spoke with a few reps from the company and none of them seemed to have correct information as to when my bed would arrive even when it was in my city for over a week. When we did finally receive it, one of the boxes was opened. Ugh. However, we put it together in no time & it's absolutely beautiful! Thankfully, there was no damage. To the seller: pay a little more for an efficient delivery service and you'd get better reviews ... show more
