Edit August 21 2024 Parts came. They sent new inverter panel and spark plug igniter. Took about 15 minutes to change out. All plug and play. Works perfect. My experience is they stand beyond there product. Edit August16 2024 Been emailing customer service and they told me today my replacement parts should ship this week. Will update again when I have more info to share. Edit July 3 2024, Unable to start. Can’t get a spark. This is second time I ever used it. I reached out to customer service. Hopefully they respond. Generator less than year old. Can’t recommend right now. Will update review when I get this resolved. This generator replaces an older generator. This is the perfect size of power vs portability. Easy set up. Good basic generator that has what you need to power your house in an emergency with none of the extra electronics you really don’t need. For those that say it may be noisy, it’s a gas motor it will be noisy. That’s just reality. It’s outside and your inside so no big deal. I definitely would purchase again. It exceeded my expectations.

Gm6000xie open frame inverter. Way louder than I wanted, open frame makes a huge difference it seems with sound. Mine didn't come with the transport handles in the package, and one of the battery bolts were cross threaded so I had to replace the nut and bolt nbd but worth mentioning. Worst of all is the lack of parts support online, and customer service is email to China so you can only imagine. Mine is having a governor related issues and does not throttle up fast enough under a load, causing large voltage drop and the engine to labor intensively. Contacting Amazon about the grab handles and they said no spare parts are available and said they would refund my money. Great. They also said keep the generator, throw it away, or donate it ext, even better. But because I got my money back customer service doesn't seem to want to help me with the running issues. In my last email I even offered to pay for parts, im waiting on a response currently. If I have any good news I will update the review. Also the overall feel of the generator is cheap, your looking at genmax because of the price and features so don't expect honda quality. I hate to write negative reviews but this brand not having much feedback or reviews I think my experience is worth sharing. Update. Genmax China responded after a couple days saying spare parts and carbs will be available in the near future and I can purchase parts from Amazon at that time. So they have no interest in dealing with me or helping me out. Mind you I didn't want to return the generator I contacted Amazon to get the missing grab handles and they told me my only option was return so I said ok. Then moment later they were the ones telling me I don't need to return it or send it back and my money was refunded, the whole reason genmax China doesn't want to deal with me lol. At least I got a free generator out of it. Again quality from this company seems poor at best. From the few other reviews and from my experience.

Bought this generator to use for my business (electrical contractor). Didn’t want to break the bank since they typically get trashed on construction sites and end up needing to be replaced semi regularly. I was very impressed with this generator the first time I took it out. The electric start cranked it right over and I was ready to go. The generator performed great, running a demo hammer and charging some cordless batteries while I had it, it was great on fuel compared to many other equally sized generators. Running it about 1/2 it burned about 1/4 tank of fuel. The noise level of the generator is what I would expect. It’s not an ultra quiet generator, but it’s not so loud you need 100’ cord to work by it. I was able to set it up a few feet away and operate my demo hammer driving ground rods. The demo hammer was much louder than the generator was. The pull cord for auxiliary start is a great feature in the event the battery fails. For the money, this generator is a great value. It’s priced close to the HF alternatives, but it gets drop shipped directly to my house to add oil, fuel, and head out. My only complaint is that I wish it had another set of 120V outlets, though it’s typical for a 6000w generator.

Works well as advertised. Does not come with oil of oil filter in US (per shipping restrictions). I did do a little hack to make connecting/disconnecting the battery easier. Couple drops of hot glue on the outside of the battery nuts (not between the connection or in the threads). This to hold the nuts sideways in place. I also added a battery trickle charger Pig tail to the battery. For those that think their generator is not giving them the full 5000 watts running. Remember the amps! Generally, the way to get the full 5000 plus watts. Is by utilizing the 30 amp plug and both 110v plugs. I am making a DIY 30 amp, plus both 110 outlets splitter to a 50amp plug. This to hook up to a 50 amp generator input. Generally, this generator should put up 41.6 amps running (not peak, from all 3 outlets). Satisfied so far.

It runs and functions but it backfires from time to time, especially on initial start. I only had this for about a week and it started happening my second day of use. They were able to refund me for the item and refunded me my assurance coverage as well. Have to wait about 2 days before I can order another generator because I paid through affirm which kind of sucks, but looking on the bright side they told me to keep this one so if I get the generator repaired I'll have a good back up.

this is an impressive unit especially at this price point it arrived in good condition well packaged i assembled it and had it running in under an hour tested it on a 15000 btu ac no problem and that was done using a 50 foot extension cord not the proper method however it does prove a point and its 220 volt easy connect into my breaker panel it has auto voltage sense so a 120 volt device can be connected to the 220 outlet no sweat this is not mentioned in the manual i confirmed with there support people who by the way were great need a generator search no further

Out of the box I followed the setup instructions using full synthetic oil. Fired right up strong, ran for 5 seconds and shut itself down. I tried again multiple times and couldn’t get it to continue running. Always started strong though, didn’t sputter it would just shut down. Finally I was dissatisfied and contacted Amazon. Long story short they told me to dispose of the unit and they refunded my money. I ordered a similar sized Champion and am very satisfied. I tinkered with this unit afterwards and got it to run for a break In period by disconnecting the low oil sensor. After break in I changed the oil using full synthetic both times and did about a 20 minute test feeding my house, it worked great. A couple weeks later the power went out so I set up to feed this to my house, and it was back to Strong starting, and shutting itself down after 5-10 seconds. I put this one back in the garage and ran the champion instead for 2 days, Flawlessly. I still haven’t figured out what’s wrong with this one, but I’ve gotten 0 productive hours out of this unit. Amazon did right by me for refunding my money. But the hassle is totally not worth it. Do yourself a favor and order the champion the first time.
