My choice of hair appliances is Gold N Hot, but one time I was away and needed a flat iron so I bought a purple Remington at a CVS. It was the best flat iron I purchased. It did better than my gold n hot which I felt didn’t get hot enough. So when the purple one died and had to get another, and this product is hotter than the purple one I had. I have 4B hair and with a good blow dry, I only have to pass this through my hair one time to get it pin straight. Then I curl my hair in 8 sections and it’ll last me 10-14 days, depending on what I’m doing. Hair I smooth and has a nice shine. Hello, first of all I bought it because I was wearing g. A. M. A and they burned very quickly, so I decided to go for another brand, I saw it and I loved the color, it is just like the photo. It heats up instantly and has a sound that alerts you when you can use it. Secondly, if you want to use it with wet hair, you press and hold the power button and the blue LED screen appears and it is ready to use. I have abundant and thick hair and with the temperature at 230° it leaves it impeccable without frizz and it doesn't bulge, which is the most important thing for me. My mom and I use it and I can make curlers with it because it is thin, the cable is rotatable, and it does not heat up from the outside, that is, where the hand goes to manipulate it, it does not heat up, but closer to the heat plates, yes, it is inevitable!
