Don't buy this hoping to make your wet hair curly, it will not work. Apparently you cannot curl hair with a straightener unless it's bone dry. I also couldn't get the technique down to curl with a straightener in general. This is probably more lack of knowledge on my part than Remington's fault. I haven't tried to straighten my hair with it, so I can't speak to how well it would work for that. ... show more

I love that I can use this when my hair is a little damp! I've never used a flat iron that advertised this. Of course we have so tried our straightening irons on wet/ damp hair and we all know how that turned out. Burnt hair! Don't get me started on the smell. I’ve only used Chi’s previously but didn’t want to spend $100 on another flat iron so I thought I’d try this. I was surprised at how cheaply made it was compared to the Chi. It’s thin, cheap plastic parts. My hair is frizzy and half curly/ half straight. I had to go over it numerous times to get it straight & throughout the day it would start frizzing back up. I finally just decided to order a different flat iron. I got a coupon code for a L’ange and ordered one from there. I will just give this one away. It’s ok it that’s what you can afford, but if you can afford something better, I suggest you get something better. ... show more
