I mount my Apple TV on a utility closet wooden board and I was concerned about the backing tape holding on a porous wooden surface so I cut a piece of plexiglass for tape adhesion and drilled a hole in the plexiglass for mounting. I think this will hold for a long time and well beyond my use of the technology. The nice sleeve adapter allows you to upgrade to the more compact design once that is justified but it remains an unnecessary upgrade for me today. Nice to have the option, though. I bought this mount for my 2022 Apple 4k TV. It cradled perfectly. What impressed me was the use of the 3M adhesive patch. Originally, I mounted this holder to the back of my TV but kept running into Bluetooth interference issues. The adhesive patch stuck strongly to the TV but using a plastic putty knife separated it without issue and residue. Likewise, the rest of the patch came off cleanly from the holder. The product is great ! And works for intended purpose. It was light, easy to take apart and piece together for my Apple TV. The back sticker had some good grip and was able to stick firmly to my bed’s backboard. It also fit perfectly for my Apple TV. All I had to do was slide/ take apart the two pieces of the actual holder. Then take the sticker out and aligned it to where I needed it to be placed. Then I took my Apple TV insert it into the cage or separate holder. Then insert that piece into the black piece that sticks onto the wall. This allows me to take out the Apple TV easily without causing too much movement onto the piece that sticks to the wall, so it doesn’t need to be ripped off or anything. Also the remote cover is great, fits perfectly for my remote and even has a little hole perfectly aligned with the Apple logo. It also has a bit of an easier grip which is much better than the remote’s metal that easily slips. This fits the Apple TV perfectly. However do listen the directions and wait 24 hours to place the unit in the mount. I didn't and it fell off. I had to remove the 3M materials and used some new material to re-mount it. It was quite a paint to get off. Save yourself the trouble.

So far the apple TV cradle is doing it's job. I find this to be an excellent product. I utilized the two sided 3M adhesive tape method. 3M products are top notch so I expect this will be a sturdy product for years of usability.

So glad i got it. The slip case for the remote helps give a more tactile feel and much easier to hold on to the remote. The mount is great, love having the Apple tv up and out of the way. Cleans up my area around the tv so much.

I loved them, exactly what i was looking for. Very simple installation: clean surface, peel red plastic from the back, push firmly for 30 seconds, wait 45 minutes whilst it “cures” while you eat dinner. That’s it!
