Honestly I didn't think this was going to be as nice as it turned out to be. I saw some reviews about odd sizings or missing parts - but I experienced none of that. It fits, it feels durable, it's breathable (so not too hot) without being see-through. I haven't had it too long, and have only put it on a few times, but it slips over the head, then the hood slips on so it doesn't hang open like a lot of other robes. The rope is robust and comfortable to wear around the waist. The necklace could be a little higher quality (the claps slips out sorta easy) but that's minuscule, and can be fixed with some pliers. I just wish it was sold in black! But if I ever want another color robe, I will most definitely be buying this very one. Very satisfied. ... show more

This was purchased for my husband who is 5'6" with a 38" waist. We got a size "M" and it fits. It is loose around the shoulders, and fits close (but not tight) at the waist. The hem is just above the tops of his loafers. The material feels like a medium weight nylon, and he says it is comfortable. We bought this for my adolescent son's Halloween costume. It is great for the price! It will need careful ironing to get out the creases but otherwise I have zero complaints. The size small is a little big on a 5'1" 130 pound kid, but not way too big.
