    • Just expensive wood burning kit.
Not capable of much. Not difficult to learn. But very limited. Bought it for leather... There's no engraving or etching, just burns a picture or design. And the design better not be very complex.

    • The support is not good, 2 business days? Machines locks up when homed.
The support is not good, they want 2 business days before anyone can contact you. The machines as easy to assemble, but there was a problem with the control board, when I home, it freezes the machine. I just returned it, why should I have to troubleshoot this. It's not worth it.

Machine flows great. Though I am having an issue with the laser freezing up support is helping with that. So that is why it's not a 1 star. Laser is weak. Therefore it takes a long time to engrave what you want. Like a long time. What I engraved took 5+ hrs. Detail is great. But if can only bust out 2 of these a day. Too slow for production setting. With pine lumber. Have to go over 3-4 times to make it look good. This machines is for strictly hobby. Return policy is not great. Pretty much can't return if its been used. If I could go back, I would go with something like Atomstack. I eventually had to spend extra $400 on a better laser module. So in total, $1000 for something decent. In end, I would say, meh for hobby, hard pass on side hustle. ... show more

The Fox Alien Reizer Mega is my second FA laser and it has far surpassed my expectations. From the larger size to the quick setup and super quiet controller, I'm blown away by this machine. Plus with the 32bit controller I'm creating projects much faster than before.
